"A lot of Bush supporters believe global warming is real."Nah....the global warming freeks were in OWLGore's pocket, not Dubya's....
For some unknown reason, Bushies refuse to see what this guy is doing to the nation, the GOP and his supporters.
Oh well, sometimes folks need a brick to fall on their heads before they'll look up.

"A deceiver is without honor, IMO." Yes, but I honestly believe it is Dubyuh's that being decieved...MUD

Rush hasn't ripped anyone???????? I listened, he spent considerable time, explaining the flip-flop of GW. He doesn't understand the move except in political terms. It is giving ground to the Dims. From now on, no debate will be allowed on the subject of whether global warming is man caused, but only on the way to combat it. Anyone claiming that man-caused global warming is not occuring, will now be marginalized by the press AND the mainstream Republicans. Thanks GW, you are the winner of the popularity contest, conservatives ideals, are once again the losers.

gw AND zook, have weighed the evidence, and decided that AlGore has been right all along. Now I know which side to believe!!!!!

Stating that there is going to be all the environmental wreckage that the report claims is specious at best, and cedes entirely too much of the philosophical battle to the left, for no reason that I can fathom, unless Mudboy Slim is right that this is to placate some of our allies to aid the war on terrorism. I have been listening all day to the "top of the hour news" radio and the cable networks all day and the only place where this is being reported and causing "controversy" is on the conservative outlets(i.e Rush, Drudge, and Hannity).
Like I stated before one must give the NYT credit for causing a conservative controversy out of thin air.
This is the best of both worlds for them(NYT). Not being reported on cable and for fanning the flames on conservative outlets.

You "red meaters" mostly seem intent on pulling ours apart. I don't understand this logic at all. If Gore was in office
making these decisions, this forum would be on him like
ugly on an ape. Now try to explain exactly how the outcome
would be different, if it were Gore.

"...the New York Times hypes and distorts a story (which has been debunked) and Drudge and Rush follow blindly." What about Rush's show today do you believe was "blind following"?!

If global warning is real and a danger to human existance, the
only real hope is a massive conversion to nuclear energy. Rush pointed that out on his show, I guess no one listened to that
part.
To: Dane
Yeah, there is that too.

No he's not, but what is wrong with criticizing him for taking the New York Times bait, which he did hook, line, and sinker.
And like I said before the NYT did their homework for causing controversy out of thin air.

GW's plan is to be loved by all, and advance the liberal agenda. Of course with a "conservative" slant.

"There's more independent vote out there than registered Dems... Maybe that's who he's shooting for? Still, the bottom line is the NYT wrote an inaccurate article about a report that's been out there for a week and Drudge, Rush, and now Hannity are carrying their water..." What does that have to do with Bush and turning left at all?" It'll be reassuring hearing Dubyuh distancing himself from the NYT article, right?! Rush's interpretation of the latest news cycle would b ea good jumping off point for disavowing the Leftist KRAP the NYT printed...in that light, Rush and Hannity are doing Dubyuh a useful service, right?!

How good is the science? If the sceince good then we read it and weep. If the science stinks then the environmentalists will take it in the you-know-what when the truth comes out. So who do we go to to find out whether or not this study is stuffed clean full of wild blueberry muffins?
To: hchutch
Is this or is this not the first time the Bush administration has publically aligned itself with the theory of global warming? I did not hear Rush, but the comments posted on Drudge do not say anything about a change in policy. He is criticizing the administration for legitimizing junk science. Is that anathema now?

"Incorrect. Most people in the US did not vote for Al Gore."OK then, please post the final numbers for the popular vote.

One thing the Democrats know this year: they don't have to
worry about fighting us. We're doing a great job of destroying
ourselves. If we act just like them, then we need to be. Maybe we will
resurect as a conservative party, that would defend the
Constitution.
Question. Did you hear one candidate of either party, in the
last election debates, accurately quote, or refer to the Constitution?
