President Bush is so at home with the people. It shows in everything he does. And Laura DID look lovely at West Point. Hmmm, so much needs fixing, I wonder if our President ever feels it's an impossible task? The Aegean Stables? I wish there was more I could do to help.

I've got a bit of bad news and good news to share with you all. The bad news is that my nearly new Hewlett Packard computer that I bought just last November croaked on me this last week. My hubby called HP and after testing this and that over the phone, they said it was a mechanical failure and said they would send us a box in the mail which we could use to mail it back to them so they could put a new hard drive in it. The good news is that even though I have had it for a little more than six months, Sam's Club, where I puchased it, agreed to take it back from me. It took a total of twenty minutes tonight for them to exchange the old croaked 'puter for a brand new one (instead of the three weeks or so that it would have taken to mail it to HP and get it back from them fixed). The best news of all is that for an extra pittance I now have a 120 GB hard drive instead of a 80 GB hard drive, 512 MB of RAM instead of 256 MB of RAM, and one of those cool new monitors that are about two inches thick. I am so jazzed!
Sam's Club is just wonderful to deal with!

It seems the pilot is always beaming when the President is leaving the plane.Maybe he's just smiling so that in case the camera catches him, his wife and mother in law can see him. You know, those folks that 'kayak' knows. LOL!!

Obviously we are dealing with food sissies. All right, girl!! Who you callin a sissy? Yeah, I'll admit it, I'm a weenie when it comes to REALLY hot stuff. It just does not agree with my taste buds. I want to taste the FOOD, not the HOT! I do love green chiles, and even like some of the spicy stir fry sauces for Asian foods, but I'll save the 'runny nose hot' stuff for Sir SuziQ.

I'm assuming these are pictures of your office. Lovely swords...even lovlier wall color. Looks like Martha Stewart's 'brick path'. Could it be? :o)

**Obviously we are dealing with food sissies**
I guess so! Years ago we had dinner at a friends' home. She made a chicken enchilada casserole and used an entire small can of diced green chilies in that 9x13 casserole...she went out on a limb cuz she knew we enjoyed hot food. LOL!

**It's kinda fun to be over there (Dr. Laura thread), hitting the Refresh button, and watching him make a total donkey out of himself. Seems like he's wanting the attention, and not that many are giving it to him. Har! **
What thread and who are you talking about?!

I'm bummed the Kings didn't win, Seven. We were all so hopeful up in the capitol city. Divac is Serbian...as I am...this would have been wonderful to have a team he's on, win.
Congrats on your team's win. :o)

Just because God loves the terrorists, and we are supposed to love them as fellow children of God, doesn't absolve them of responsibility for their actions, and it does not keep us from doing what we have to do to stop them from hurting more innocent people. SO well said, SuziQ! God loves every person but He has, nevertheless, created hell for those who will not bow to His Son and ask forgiveness in this life. He still will love them when they are in hell. It's an aspect of His love that is difficult for my mind to grasp. The closest I come to it is remembering how much I loved my son when he disobeyed. His actions did not change the fact that I still loved him. And while I would still punish him for disobedience, I always worked to bring him back into right fellowship between us at such times.
McLynnan, I discovered something about the awesome God that has helped me to walk in His ways. When His Word demands some action of me that I know I'm not capable of doing, if I ask Him to give me the grace to obey His Word, He changes my heart to obey His Word. He changes me at the level of my motivations, by His grace. He knows I can't love these murderers, but He knows I can let Him love them through me until He has changed my heart enough that I could honestly say I love them with His love (not there yet). Even were I in that place today, I would also do all in my power to see that they were brought to justice.
