Oh.....that's a good one. I'll save it for Brad. So far, no problems along that line. But I'll be Super Gram to the rescue (thanks to YOU!)

I saved enough for me and brought some to work for some friends. One of the things that saved time was buying the diced tomatos with the chiles in them. They sell it in cans here- I guess for salsa making.

Sure they will. First thing out of their mouths will be that he's fallen off the wagon. Tonight when we were in Crawford I thought about him. It was a beautiful, quiet night, and I wished he could have been home to enjoy it instead of preparing for the return of Congress and their backstabbing. When will they learn W isn't the enemy, and support him and focus their attention on the real enemy?

The President needs our prayers more than ever! And our country needs our prayers! We are truly engaged in a spiritual battle and satan is pulling out some pretty heavy artillery. We MUST put on the whole armor of God and step into the battle.,/i>

She is right ..... he most certainly needs our prayers more then ever before .. a lot of scary stuff is going on around the world

Can you buy Ro-tel brand canned tomatoes and chiles where you are? They are a Texas staple, but not sure if they are distributed nationally.

Thank You rintense, A compliment from a patriot like you is always special. As I have said many times before. YOUR thread is what hooked me on FR. and whenever I get down about all the Bush Bashing here on FR I come to your thread "A Day in the Life of President Bush" and renew my hopes for our country. You are a diamond in the rough here on FR and I salute you and the rest of the faithful contributors on this thread.

God Bless all of you.

Mike

Yes, not too far. Maybe 8 miles. Are you in the same area?

I loved that statement the President made, "this nation will act." I am so glad that he said that! People are saying he has forgotten the war on terrorism. Of course they don't remember that he told us this would be a different kind of war and that we wouldn't always see planes bombing and the things we are used to seeing!
So excited to see a Saturday dose, I am late as usual, so it is hard to catch up, but I am so happy it is here!
The West Point speech was terrific!
Thanks, Rintense!

No, but I have a good friend who lives there--"other mother." Her grandson is the mayor of McGregor. I don't know him.

I don't know who the mayor of McGregor is these days. It's only about 4 miles from McGregor's stoplight to Crawford.

Well then, technically, I am always first.

LOL! This is the best laugh I have had all day! Good one! I am quite amused nightly by the new race to be first! I don't have to worry, I am still outside when the dose is put up each night, so I am always last! (but not least of course!)

Very well said. I remember all that and I also remember how the press grabbed the watergate burglary
and turned it into all the crap that followed. I will always believe the people who broke into that office
worked for the demo party and knew how Nixon would react. I know they were supposed to be affiliated with the Repubs
but I just always had my doubts that they were loyal to any thing except who paid the most money.
I watched in horror every day while it was played out all day long on all three networks. And as for the Carter years,
the media covered for him as much as it did Clinton. They tried to make everyone believe 18% interest rates and
gasoline lines were not so bad, it was for the good of the country. And you're right about the start of terrorism.
When the Carter administration helped with the overthrow of the Shah, that was just the beginning.

And I was a democrat in the days of Nixon. Yes, I was young and dumb. But I got over it.

This will give you more time to search for your choppers, Grammie. And about that recipe...since you're gumming everything these days the blender will come in handy. LOL

Gosh. I'm speechless. It is an honor to have you here everyday, Mike. You are a great patriot too, and I always look forward to reading your brilliant insights. Whenever there is discontent here on FR, I can always count on you and the rest of the daily dosers to keep things in perspective. You are all beacons in the fog of confusion.

You two are pitiful. You get *nothing* for being first. Sheesh.
