I loved that statement the President made, "this nation will act." I am so glad that he said that! People are saying he has forgotten the war on terrorism. Of course they don't remember that he told us this would be a different kind of war and that we wouldn't always see planes bombing and the things we are used to seeing!
So excited to see a Saturday dose, I am late as usual, so it is hard to catch up, but I am so happy it is here!
The West Point speech was terrific!
Thanks, Rintense!

People are saying he has forgotten the war on terrorism.

THAT'S funny in a pathetic way. In the recent Daschle charge accusing W of knowing about the 9/11 attacks and saying / doing nothing, and dem acrimony over W "using" the photos of him doing his job on 9/11 to solicit cash for the RNC, I read a hit piece by one stinky writer that Bush always mentions the terrorist attacks in his speeches, with the intention to draw the reader into believing W's words were also to draw cash to the RNC.

These dolts ... It's too true that you can't please all the people ... not even part of the time. To say that he is reminding us that we are at war against an enemy who wants us destroyed, as a means of garnering cash, is beyond the pale. Bush mentions it because we are so prone to forget, let down our guard, fail to finance the war, etc., unless tragedy hits anew or we are reminded through words. I'll take the verbal reminders any day over new attacks.
