WASHINGTON -- Occasional grumbling by some prominent conservatives about President Bush sometimes overshadows his extremely solid support among stalwart Republicans and conservatives around the country.

Many Republicans and Democrats seem to agree that support by itself does not tilt the 2002 elections toward the GOP. Some, however, say it could offset the gains the party out of the White House -- Democrats, in this case -- historically has made in midterm elections.

BS. The only reason that his friend was let go is that Bo Gritz threatened to testify against him in court if he didn't. Weaver had 18months to take care of the issue and decided to make a last stand anyway. Then his kid and his wife are killed and he walks away with 3.1 mil for serving the sentence he would have served if he had answered the charges in the first place! The man is scum.

Bush is trying to get rid of the marriage disincentives inherent in our welfare system, which is certainly a good thing. He has tried to buy votes with federal aid to faith-based organizations, which is ultimately going to be to the detriment of religion. Other than that, I perceive that Bush has stayed out of religious matters on the whole.

I am recently new here. (Within the last 6 days) and that is all it has taken me to realize that Tex could care less about the constituion. The fact that he said avoiding hate crimes rather then abolishing the laws that spawned them was my final straw.

Tex you come here and pounce on everyone for their beliefs claiming no one knows jack except you, you act like some expert on everything even telling people who know people involved in the incident that they are full of crap. BTW Randy had a daughter who survived anyone who knows anything about the incident knows that.
