WASHINGTON -- Occasional grumbling by some prominent conservatives about President Bush sometimes overshadows his extremely solid support among stalwart Republicans and conservatives around the country.

Many Republicans and Democrats seem to agree that support by itself does not tilt the 2002 elections toward the GOP. Some, however, say it could offset the gains the party out of the White House -- Democrats, in this case -- historically has made in midterm elections.

And the fringers will stand on their " principles " and refuse to vote for a GOP candidate; thusly, ensuring not only a President Hitlery!, but a Dem majority in both Houses.

As the Libertarians always say : it sends a powerful message.

Oh no.....not this circular argument thing, where you only add negative stuff, and then you say I'm a Bush Bot and that I don't care about this country (well, not as much as you do), and then you say I spit on The Constitution (and I don't understand it as much and as well as you do), and then you say I'm not a "real" conservative (well, not as "real" as you are), and that I'm not a "true" conservative (not as true as YOU are), then you'll try to insult my intelligence by talking to me about the Founding Fathers and Reagan (ignoring what they were REALLY like, of course), and I'll get mad and call you an Unappeasalbe and Malcontent.

Let's not and say we did.

BTW, doncha think a Chevette is REALLY beneath you? I'd have thought you were at the very least a Pace kind of guy.

Me, I'll dance with the one that brung me -- the HUMVEE.

Reagan was the first Neo-con president in history.

Oh you mean the president that said, "a country without borders is NOT a country"? Or the president who himself got CONNED by the Neo-Cons in his administration that the blanket amnesty he signed was a "one-time", "never-again" deal that was passed with the condition that our government would start enforcing its immigration laws? You mean THAT Neo-Con president?

It is my heartfelt opinion that Reagan would have never pushed the reckless open border polices and amnesties that Bush is peddling, especially after this country was attacked on 9/11. You conveniently forget that when Reagan was president, Immigration was not nearly the crisis it is today.

Hillary won't run in 2004. In 2004 she will let the strongest democratic candidate run which will probbaly Al Gore who is reletivly weak already and he will burn himself out once and for all. Bush will beat him again and then the beast will run in 2008 when repubs could be weaker with stupid sheep Americans thinking that the war needs to end. That is when the beast jumps on the stage and starts her liberal rally cry and then God help us all.

At what point do RINO policies affect real political change?

Thus far I'm not thrilled, but there are still issues yet to be assessed fully.

Wait till the gays hear about this!

"Our country is now divided into 2 groups, those who have no clue our freedom is going, and those who do. Unfortunately those who don't make up 80% of this nation."

You're probably close with those statictics. I've not seen a sheeple study recently. That's one reason we need to elect someone the sheep can relate to. Do you believe the sheep will vote for a constitutionalist at this point in our country? Look at our public schools. We're on the second generation of revisionalist history. Some don't even know the Pledge. Pitiful. It's up to us to get the word out. It's going to take many years to undo the damage caused by the liberal regime. With time, and patience, we will be able to restore our country. It's not going to happen in a couple years. I wish it could, but the reality is if we push to hard, the liberals will gain control. Conservatives will be viewed as even more extreme.

You do know that democracy in any form that gives the people the right to vote themselves benefits will evolve to a socialist state don't you? The ONLY way to avoid that is to change the attitudes of the PEOPLE then the government will be a self-correcting problem. Conservatives had better wake up about that reality. The fact is that everyone in this country from the far right to the far left have their own socialist program that they benefit from and do not want to give up. There are MANY conservative farmers that love the new farm bill, there are many America first conservatives that love the steel tariffs, there are many libertarians that love the immigration policies, and there are Many religious right groups that love the faith based charities, vouchers for religious schools and tax exemptions for churches. NONE of those groups would EVER call any of them socialistic. But the other guys….well that’s different.

You also forgot a few other things ... such as without her in name only husband NOT president any longer, she can no longer by off Hasidic Jewish criminals ( and hence one community ) with pardons, Puerto Ricans, with pardons for known cop killers and terrorists, nor make promises about anything . The perks of the presidency are gone, and a Senator's perks aren't nearly as good.

then, there's the possibility of the GOP running Condi Rice, in 2008 . Hitlery! running against another woman, and a black one, at that, takes away here most cherished , frauulant foil ... the horrid partiarchy of te evil white male.

No group prayer on public grounds.

How odd. My children attend a public high school where the principal starts with a prayer each morning on the intercom. Maybe instead of complaining on a website and spamming people's e-mail, you should just go pray where you want to pray. Nobody is stopping you. Most of us say what we want and pray where we want in order to exercise our right to free speech but some people would rather sit behind a keyboard and blame all the world's ills on Bush. He is not stopping you from demanding your right to pray where you want. You do not need permission from anyone to pray where you want. Grow a pair and do it. You act as if you'll be arrested for praying in public.

Yes, they certainly DO send a powerful message. That they are damned DOGS IN THE MANGER , who would rather be miserable. Some people see a partially filled glass as 1/2 empty. Others see it as 1/2 full. Fringers see a permently empty glass ; whether it is 1/8 ,1/4 , 1/2, or 3/4 full.

It's a waste of energy going after Ma Klinton. The 43% that would vote for her, supported the pervert remaining in office. I doubt there's anything that will disuade them. They drink Koolaid.

I am a Christian, as I assume most here are. But when I look at this nation, I can only see one way out of this. Violence. I seriously cannot figure out how we will ever rally this nation under the flag of freedom. God knows I have tried. But when we have kids who refuse to say the pledge calling it fascist, when we have teachers and "guests" in schools all over the country teaching students as young as 6 about homosexuality, transvestites, and other such sickening things, when you have students being taught evolution is the undeniable truth and that their is no way God is real when their is more proof for God existing the evolution, you know we are to late.

The marxist liberals have bren the conservative out of each subsequent generation from the 1940s onward. After the marxists succeded in banning God in 1947 using our constitution as the tool when the only place seperation of church and state existed was Artcle 13 of the Soviet Constitution, that was the largest blow we suffered.

Today children are taught God never existed in our history, but the fact is our pure Republic only succeded because of the deeply religious founders.

Soon the sheep population will have succeded in taking our guns away then it will be to late. Even thought Winston Churchhill was not an America, one of his quotes holds deeply true to all nations that cherish freedom.

"Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Winston Churchill

We did not fight when we could easily win without bloodshed. We have all odds against us, it is soon or never.

"It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible." - George Washington
