Kinda like long term incarceration, so called bi-sexuality and confession all prove it’s choice too! Go figure?

The final recommendation in Throckmorton's list states, "Practitioners should not refuse service to clients who pursue an ex-gay course but rather should respect the diversity of choice and consider a referral to an ex-gay ministry or practitioner."

There's that "choice" word. It's thrown around all too loosely with respect to "sexual orientation." But this sentence uses it correctly. Once a person recognizes him/herself as "homosexual" that's when there is a choice. One can either accept it, or try to treat it. One doesn't generally make a "choice" to have their sexual desires channeled into a homosexual direction. Once certainly doesn't wake up in the morning and say, "I think I'll be gay." But one can choose whether to attempt to look for treatment.

That's why the outcry against schools teaching homosex as a valid lifestyle. The kids need to be shown where to go for treatment - just as they would be if they had a tendency toward anger.

Interesting article but the authoress fails to examine the mental illness aspect of SAD. Most male SADs have been either molested or have a unsatisfactory or absent relationship with their father. They choose to practice homosexual behavior to either avoid painful memories (it must have been ok for me when I was molested because its ok for me now) or to gain affection from a male figure (dad didn't love me but so-and-so obviously does)

Any exposure of children to homosexual activity is child abuse
