Mega thanks for the added prayers for Lex (Pat). Was looking through some things today and came across our photos from our trip to DC for the 98 March for Justice. Lex and another Florida friend and I made that journey together - an unforgettable one.

And it was - thankfully - Florida where the final battle for election 2000 was fought - and won!

Lord, please give your peace and comfort to Lex and Johnny, who surely need it.

But more, I point to a favorite passage from 1 Peter:

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. (1 Peter 5:10)

r9 - I love that verse - after a little while of suffering - it seems so hard while people are suffering - and like it will never end. But it will end and God is right there with Pat carrying her through this "strange" suffering.
