The full quotation from 'Addams Family':

Snotty Girl Scout: "Is that lemonade made from real lemons?"
Wednesday: "Are those cookies made from real Girl Scouts?"

Girl Scouts now can earn the "Ms. Fix-It" badge for learning how to fix a leak, rewire an electrical appliance, or re-caulk a window, and the "Car Care" badge for checking fluids, filling tires to the proper pressure, and performing safety checks.

They forgot to mention the "Ms. Kiss-it" badge for fellating a pro-abortion politician.

Citing a survey from the American Association of University Women that has since been debunked, the Girl Scouts assures girls in its literature that teachers discriminate against them in the classroom, calling on boys more often.

From what I remember of school, from the first grade all the way through college, teachers will always call on the students who they feel don't know the answers.

Guys, American women have mostly been indoctrinated and corrupted. It is a personal call, but are American women worth taking a chance on when it comes time to look for a permanent partner in this world?

Yes, my own daughter just finished the "Sparks" level in Awana. She really likes it and we do, too.

"She judged the girl's ethnic heritage by their looks. Idiot."

I was at work one day. The tv was on and a commercial came on showing a white woman with a black baby. A black co-worker said, they are trying to do away with white and black and make everyone one color. He was right.

....your attitude alarms me because, at first while reading your profile it appeared you were a very devoted and perceptive man ,then I eyed the fact you are working with at risk young men.

....May I ask is your attitude the same when working with them, as your statement here and what you are telling them the alternative is?

While I viewed some of the leaders less then feminine,I never thought about them being GAY! ....I guess I was really naive back then.

Talk about naive - I don't even remember thinking some of my leaders were "less than feminine!" While most of the leaders were mothers, some were single college students; the meetings and camp-outs were fun, and that issue never came up at all.

But then, even if they were a little "off" I probably wouldn't have recognized the signs. I still have trouble picking up on them, unless the person is really flaming. As a kid, if they were there, they went right over my head.

We don't discuss it, and part of my attitude stems from my observation of many parents and the girlfriends of these young men.

For whatever reason, the Boy Scouts seem to do a better job of providing for the kids.

When you buy any product from a Boy Scout, none of it goes to the BSA's National Council. If you buy the popcorn, approximately 1/3 goes to the manufacturer of the popcorn, 1/3 to the Pack or Troop the Scout belongs to, and 1/3 to the local Council.

The local Council uses it to pay their staff (both full time and seasonal summer camp), maintain their properties (repair the dining hall, etc.), and purchase program materials (new canoes for summer camp, etc.). If you'd like to see a breakdown of how the money works in your local Council, call them up and ask for a copy of their Annual Report.

The Troop or Pack will use their money to buy camping equipment or other program materials. This can get expensive. The tents we buy for our unit cost about $240 each for two young men to use. Sure, we could buy the $89 special from Wal-Mart, but then what happens when you have a thunderstorm? It collapses, the kids get soaked, and they'll never come out on a campout again. Unlike GSUSA units, BSA Troops have to go camping, it's part of the program. A good Troop goes camping at least 9 weekends in the year, plus a week of summer camp. So they all have their own gear. GSUSA units generally don't camp all that much (they can if they want to, but the program doesn't require it), so they usually have no need to invest in the equipment. The local GSUSA Council thus stocks the equipment needed.

By the way, other fundraisers that a BSA unit runs, like a Troop selling Christmas trees, don't include the local Council. For example, we sell wreaths. Half the money goes to the manufacturer. Of the other half, half of that goes to the Troop's general funds, and the other half (1/4 of the price) goes to the Scout's "Scout Account". We keep this money separate on the unit's books, and the Scout can use it for uniforming, camp fees, camping equipment, hiking boots, etc.

Though the Boy Scouts has been hit badly by the atheists and homosexuals and their supporters, the Boy Scouts is growing rapidly in our area, and, I understand, in many other areas as well. It is the last major mainstream kids' organization that teaches traditional Judeo-Christian principles to young men. When the homosexuals started attacking scouts two years ago, we lost about 3 out of 150 kids in our pack and troop. Now, our pack and troop number well over 200. In constast, many, many parents (and this is in suburban New Jersey) are refusing to let their daughters join Girl Scouts. They object, rightly, to its pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, un-God-founded message (whatever that is, outside of empowerment). Several of us are already looking at American Heritage Girls, a new organization for girls that duplicates many of the values underscored in Boy Scouts.

A fairly steep fall from the worthy principles they were founded on.

If you want to teach your daughters moral relativism, send them to the Girl Scouts.

push on to our little girls is: being a homosexual woman is not only cool , but it is normal behavior that all women (or should) secretly feel

My daughter would be safer morally (and physically) with a bunch of Boy Scouts than with a bunch of Girl Scouts.

My wife tells some stories about the place- drug use and drinking among staff, and an amazingly high percentage of lesbians including the director. I used to tease them about it but it is really not funny. No way in hell is my little girl going there.

The Girls Scouts are going to end up rejected by most parents, once those parents learn the truth.

My beautiful, wonderful, classy wife, and the mother of my three extraordinary children, is Asian. But I think there are some American women with similar qualities as well. Good luck!!! (But don't go looking at a Girl Scouts meeting!)
