President Bush attended a NATO ceremony today called the 'Rome Declaration', which made Russia a junior member. Bush also raised concerns regarding the child sex scandal in the Catholic Church as he met with Pope John Paul. The President and First Lady returned to the White House late this afternoon. Get those right-clicks ready and enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Bush's body language and reaction to Gregory going straigt to french question after asking Bush in English. I thought the president was polite but he threw out some zingers.

One other president has lost the popular vote. Although I can't remember who it was. But it was a long, long time ago. Bush would have won the popular vote if not for Demcoratic voter fraud. Dead people and dogs always seem to vote Democratic. Not to mention military vote that gets thrown out as well as calling states immediately for the Rat and waiting over an hour to call the Republicans easy states.

the newly elected junior senator from NY
You should put "elected" in quotes, as if you were talking about Willie Sutton (
the notorious bank robber once said when asked why he robbed banks, 'because that's where the money is') making "withdrawals" from the bank.

Miss Marple pointed out the COMBINED total of Perot's and Bush I were more than Clinton. But Clinton got more votes then each one individually Oh I know that .. I'm just saying if you really think about it .. he didn't get a whopping amount of votes ..
Less then half of the voters voted .. That is less then 50% of eligible voters .. I can't remember what % Ross got .. but he had to get at least 5% to be eligible for federal funds (whatever it's called)
So if you break it down Clinton only really got like 22% of the vote

To chime in with everyone else, the past several days the dose has been loaded with fantastic pictures! The President's tour has been a coup for us!
Bless your heart for doing this so faithfully. It is the only place we can celebrate (YES, I said CELEBRATE, LURKERS!) our terrific President and First Lady in relative peace!
The Pope should retire, he is so feeble, I feel so sorry for that poor man!

Sad isn't it that that small amount of people can put a scum bag like him in office????? But the people who don't vote don't count.

Interestingly but not surprising, the newly elected junior senator from NY as one of her first actions wanted to eliminate the Electoral College. Gee I wonder why ...
I might add .. if it wasn't for the Big Cities .. Gore would have lost BIG TIME .. can you say UNIONS!!!

This one begs for a caption. Looks like the Tapdance Trio does the old softshoe While the band played on...
"There's noooo bidness like NATO bidness like nooooo bidness I know.
Everything about it is apealing
Everything the voters will allow

Meanwhile, bitter Maureen, alone and childless, looks across the newsroom at Adam Clymer. I think of this and smile. LOL!!!

Who could possibly say GWB is not having the time of his life. It is such a pleasure to watch.

AMEN

Winning the popular vote is not what elects a President as Gore found out recently! :) The popular vote is just something thrown in later for us to make us feel better, but it is not the constitutional way to become President!
