President Bush attended a NATO ceremony today called the 'Rome Declaration', which made Russia a junior member. Bush also raised concerns regarding the child sex scandal in the Catholic Church as he met with Pope John Paul. The President and First Lady returned to the White House late this afternoon. Get those right-clicks ready and enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

First picture.... "Blue Boys" ...what do yah think?

Yeah, snazzy ties on both guys! Blair's is interesting with that broad brush stoke of deep mauve across the blue. Dubya's is another very small geometric, similar to the one that had the blue, turquoise and purple the other night, but I don't know if is the same or not. You can't see the pattern in the first picture, it shows up later. Actually a lot of those guys were wearing blue ties. Did you see Bertie Ahern's? It makes his face look even MORE Irish if that's possible!!

I'm not Catholic and not not even very religious, but I have tremendous respect for the Pope and his fight against communism and tyranny around the world. When I see Bush and the Pope together all I can think is "There are two great fighters for freedom."

As for Putin, I sense a real friendship between Bush and him. He wants so badly to make Russia part of Europe and the Christian world, rather than the third world countries that surround him in Asia. Russia's oil can help bring them there, while allowing the West to reduce dependence on our Muslim "allies".

Finally, I didn't know Bill Gates was at the European summit. There he is, top row, second from left, in the second photo of post 23!

The really wild thing is that it was a liberal aunt who shared that sent me that in an email.

My very liberal seventy-nine year old mother-in-law likes Bush too. I dare hope that she might even vote for him in the next presidential election. That will be the very first time she has ever voted for anything other than a 'Rat.

You are very welcome. The only other time i have been so proud was during President Reagan's presidency. I think this one will be even better.

Wow! No wonder people in Michigan look at me funny when I say that real Texas Chili should NOT have beans! Every chili up here has beans - YUCK - and it's usually the big kidney beans!!!!!

That is the reason for the high approval ratings....not the war.

Exactly .. if I recall correctly before 9/11 President Bush had an approval rating of 60-65% .. I remember reports stating these numbers were higher than what Clinton had when first in office

The pics this wek have been just AWESOME, rintense. Thank you for this labor of love!

I noticed in pic #6 of Post #14 that Dubya is leaning down to the Pope as he does with older people and children all the time. It is a sign of respect from him to be more 'face to face' with them.

What a blessing to have a professing Christian as President.

Amen, and AMEN!!

Thank you for that beautful reminder of what we have in this President. We cannot ever be complacent about this great gift God has given America, and we must be faithful in upholding President Bush, and his family in prayer!!!!

rintense, Thank YOU for your faithful posting of these pictures each night! Thank you for your tender heart, your patriotism, your self-denial in doing this daily, regardless of circumstances, and your love for this President, and this great country!

You have made the past 16 months a beautiful experience for us with this soothing balm every night!!

Never kidney beans, horrors! I'd never had beans in my chili until a few years ago. We were at a convention in San Antonio and they served the most delicious hot, spicy chili with black beans in it and I fell in love. I have an interesting chili recipe made with Dr Pepper as part of the liquid and black beans.

and hoping that the world leaders won't be asked to dress up in that gear.

Nope, only the Swiss Guards wear that get-up, but I wouldn't be making fun of them within their earshot. I understand they are among the most highly trained soldiers in the world!

Agreed.....It is just a little more obvious now as his leadership qualities are more on display due to 9-11-01.

President Bush has a personal approval rating of 80%. That is absolutely astounding.

Xlinton had a personal approval rating that hovered around 25%. That was too high.

Oh, I couldn't agree with you more!
