Fox News Channel on Direct TV, just announced that Tuesday that the coroner will be announcing some information to the public to shed some light on what they have discovered. My guess is it will be called a homicide then and maybe a brief cause of death if they have found evidence of how she may have died. (remember Monday is a Holiday)

Gosh I hate to jump on the "maybe" bandwagon, but then again what the heck. How about this scenario?

BOTH Gary and Chandra are kinky...into S&M, B&D, rough sex and role playing. He contacts her and sets up a meeting in the park >implying< a role playing game by warning her "Now be careful babe, that's a dangerous park. You never know when someone might jump out of the bushes and rape an attractive, young jogger."

She, being into the kink stuff, goes along with the meeting. Her heart races as she moves along the isolated, lonely, darkened pathways. Her eyes dart from side to side as deep within every shadow lurks the promise a violent, uninvited, sexual assault. When she passes he makes his move.

The sudden attack startles and thrills them both, and passions swell as he gruffly, menacingly orders her off the path deeper into the brush.

Finally they reach the spot where he plans to consumate the attack. He orders her to take off her leotards. Trembling in anticipation she complies and he proceeds to tie her up.

But when he begins the actual rape, she puts up token resistance to further heighten their arousal. He plays along, picking up a rock or club or pipe and threatening her with it.

Then something goes terribly wrong! He stumbles and the rock slips from his hand, or a swing of a weapon is misjudged! She's hit, injured, perhaps unconsious, perhaps dead!

Afraid to leave her there and knowing he can't take her for medical care he finishes the job, puts her in a shallow grave, then takes off.

What a terrible price to pay for a fleeting moment of sick, twisted fulfilment! Still, the surviving partner will relive the strangly stimulating scenario over and over again in his sexual dreams, and nightmares, for the rest of his life.

Hey this is just as credible as everything else we've been specualting. In fact I had a friend, who is now serving life behind bars because he blew his new, young wife's head off while role playing with a .44 magnum on Valentine's Day four years ago.

Amazingly he had been the Air Force equivalent of a SEAL, with his specialty being getting air dropped into the jungle to find and extract downed pilots. He was a smallish fellow, and didn't look the part. But he WAS tough although obviously mentally unable to deal with the years he spent in life and death situations.

I don't think she was buried at all. Maybe covered with some tree limbs and foliage but that is all unless she was dumped there later.

I may be totally wrong but it seems to me that the bodies I have seen that have been on certain types of ground for awhile tend to >create< their own shallow, greasy depressions. Especially if the ground is damp, black earth and the body has been covered with leaves, twigs and other organic material.

I understand that they only had 16 dogs available to them for searching the park... also they did a general search, 100 yards from roads and trails from inside the park area. She was found a few hundred yards from the trail that is at the top of the slope. Also since they found remains scattered on the slope and just 100 yards from the Broad Branch Road, does not mean that if a search dog was on Broad Branch Road sniffing that it would have picked up the scent, because we do not know exactly where on the slope (how low or how high up) her body was decomposing, before wildlife or weather moved it up, down, or across the slope. The slope is 120 feet high, but is a bi-level area... meaning the slope is steep but has level areas as you climb up it (like large natural earth stairs over a 120 foot high area)

Nope. Condit forbade purse, wallet, ID and money .... the fact that she left these at the apartment is a good indication she either willingly left to meet him, OR was taken to meet him. Maybe early in the morning, hence the blanket on the floor near the door and the 4am screams outside the building.

Yes... the media is reporting that they can not locate him (the media hounds that is) So where ever he is, he is hiding out pretty good. They have always been able to find him in the past. I also think someone said they have no voting records for him from the day she was reported being found.

Good point. I recall reading somewhere that people who are into bondage tend to use the same knots over and over. Then again they probably don't have knots from the bedroom trysts, and not only leotards but neckties, scarves, ropes or other restraints might have been used.

Plus aren't people who are into bondage very proceedure oriented...kinda like tea drinkers? Isn't savoring the act of retraint what gets them off as opposed to normal arousal?

ET... I really don't buy into the 4am scream thing. DC is a bad city and people are mugged all the time, plus people are out at night all the time having fun, yelling and playing. I live in the boonies down a very long country road, outside a small town of 8,000 the teenagers ride this road at night and scream bloody murder as they drive down it at night. You would swear someone was killing them, but no dead bodies have pop up around here or no kidnappings. Usually they are out drinking and driving, smashing mailboxes and tipping cows over while the cows sleep. I grew up in St. Louis and as a kid we did stupid things, like scream at the tops of our lungs as if someone was killing us... just to terrorize people. The police checked into the 4am scream and found nothing right after it happened. They know it was her on the computer from 9am to 1pm that day, due to her regular surfing habits. She visited many of her daily websites and some that she normally had not visited in the past. Like the Basket & Robbins Ice Cream website was regular site that she visited, she printed out coupons all the time and also they were going to have a free ice cream day soon or just had one.

Wasn't there a search last summer of the general area? There was another clean-up crew of scouts just recently? A decomposing human body gives off an odor for quite a distance. Any one passing in the general area would have noticed. If the body had been there all along, the odor would have been a give-away. Perhaps she was dumped there VERY recently.

Add to that that Guandique was said by the two women he attacked to have used a knife, yet Levy was probably killed by a blow to the head.

Condit either did it, or he hired someone to do it (most likely his criminal brother).
