May 26, 2002 -- Investigators believe Chandra Levy was lured to her death by someone she knew or slain by a predator who methodically stalked her, police sources said yesterday.

Evidence collected at the spot where her remains were found points away from her being killed in a random attack while she was jogging, the sources said.

I think he had more phones in different names. Her incoming phone records on landline would not be recorded on phone records. It sounds to me like she was in the floor with the phone and comforter to talk on the phone at all hours just as she had been used to.

Groves, who had referred all questions about the Levy investigation to a public relations specialist recently hired by Condit, changed course and agreed to go on the record about the speculation over resignations.

"I think I can also speak for Mike," Groves said in a reference to Mike Dayton, Condit's Washington-based administrative assistant and legislative director. "We love this guy. He's been very good to us. We're not going anywhere." Groves also pointed to an interview with Condit's California-based chief of staff, Mike Lynch, in Friday's Modesto Bee in which Lynch said Condit is planning to run for re-election.

"No one has talked to me about quitting," Lynch told the paper. "It's more of a case of pulling together and helping each other out. When there's a difficult time, family pulls together. We are like a family."

She have been already unconcious when he tightened the leotard, otherwise she might get suspicious with his having to rip,tear or cut the leotard into strips... or not want them ruined. My guess is that she is already subdued at this point.

Well, there are accounts like hotmail, then there are remailers and such. I have no idea how anonymous they really are, but some sites indicate a long list of remailing before the recipient gets the mail.
