Dear Prayer warriors, brothers and sisters in Christ,

I am coming to you to ask prayers for a special situation the Lord has brought to our family.

We have been in touch with a birthmom that is carrying a baby that has Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus. The Lord has used this pregnancy and child to bring the birthmom to Himself.

This past Wednesday at the specialists appointment the Dr. told her that the hydrocephalus is very severe and that she should anticipate prenatal death (the baby boy is at 31 weeks gestation) in the coming weeks or death shortly after birth. Her heart is broken as well as is ours with this news. We know God is in control of every detail. I ask you to join with us in praying for this precious baby, healing and health if it be God's will, his birthmom and our family as we go through these next few weeks full of uncertainty.

We praise God for allowing a relationship to develop with the birthmom that is sincere and Christ focused. Regardless of the unfolding details we rest in His care for all of us.

Lord God, when our wisdom ends your's surpasses ours by infinity. That is why we place this child and this mother in your loving arms. You, our Father, know better what to do that we ever could. We trust you, therefore Lord, to provide the type of healing for this mother and child that you decide. And if you decide to apply the eternal healing and call this blessed little one home to be with you, then enable us to lift our heads and shout with joy on high, because the angels of this little child ever behold the face of God on its behalf. Hallelujah. Praise to Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!
