Ping. Of all the ways they could "help" very few people, give the illegals directional beacons? The Mexican govt. is sticking it in our face. Creating lit beacons to call away their people so they can avoid solving their own problems.

I've noticed they've framed the whole immigration issue on the "dehydrated" people, invoking the charity and caring of their cause. Like they gave a damn for decades. Probably some American P.R. firm gave them a public face lift.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexico on Wednesday pledged to build 10 towers along sections of its 2,000-mile border with the United States to provide emergency water for migrants who become dehydrated while trying to sneak illegally across the desert frontier.

Act of War.

BTW, I don't believe that "sent back into Mexico" spin for one second.

We should pay someone a few bucks to...er...very rapidly dismantle these things...maybe by the use of a howitzer from the US side of the border.

Unbelievable. Aids to assist Mexico in relieving itself of population who can flee to the USA, earn hard US currency and send it back south.

But $20,000?? That isn't going to buy much of ANY thing 100 feet high, particularly built by government. Twenty grand wouldn't pay for a simple antenna mast 100 feet tall, much less a structure of any kind, particularly one bearing weight, collecting water...????

Why don't they go all out and rub it directly in our faces?

I'm thinking they could put a draw bridge type thing on each of the towers that lowers across the river or fence at the push of a button.

And if this test project works, they could set up a little "welcome to America" information kiosk thing at its base - kinda like those things out on the interstates when you cross into a new state. It could be complete with picnic tables, port-o-cans, and a little kid peddling souvenirs made out of yarn and popsicle sticks.

...said Felipe de Jesus Preciado of Mexico's National Immigration Institute (INM).

I don't mean to be picky, but shouldn't it be called the National Emigration Institute?

This will create target rich environments of "migrants".

The INS and American Patrol can create their own using flood lights on cherry pickers. Sorta like a bug attracter - wait till it gets dark, raise it up and draw them in like flies.

And of course for their drug-running police and soldiers to use as sniper towers.

I say, throw some laxatives into the water towers....instead of Montezuma's Revenge it'll be "Jim Bowie's Revenge" ;)

I remember Daniel Pipes saying the US is not realizing it has been at war with the muslim world ever since the invasion of the US embassy in Iran and the subsequent hostage crisis. This jurisdictional violation, in the name of Allah, under muslim jurisdiction, we did not take seriously.

With the raising of those water towers to encourage migration and trespass on US soil, we might as well say that we are at war with Mexico, yet we have not a clue about it. When are the sheeple going to wake up? Is Bush an unconscious robot of feelings and compassion, or is he a thinking man who knows the truth and recognize the existence of truth and the US constitution?

Thirsty migrants who go to the towers for help will be sent back into Mexico after being provided with water.

Unless of course the Mexican "guards", like the French police, just don't show up for work.

All freight trains heading across Europe towards the Channel Tunnel were banned from France yesterday in the face of mounting chaos caused by illegal immigrants bent on reaching Britain.

The move came after a weekend when none of the extra police that the French had promised would guard the Frethun marshalling yards outside Calais reported for duty.

Why don't we just take over Mexico, and add the few extra states? Clean the place up a bit, add a little infrastructure, some manufacturing etc. A new tax base. It's the Capitalist thing to do. While were at it, do Cuba as well.

Let'em - what they do on their side of the border is their own business. Now on the other hand, we got no business building anything on our side of the border. If they are dumb enough to wander out into the desert with no water, that's their own fault...

I defend their constitutional right to be stupid.
