"I remember watching that search. It really was a joke. Just following the footpaths."

What are you looking for?

I lost my car keys.

Where did you loose them?

Back over there.

Well, why are you looking here?

The light is better here.

I'm going with John Walsh's theory that this was done by a serial killer of young women in Northern VA...

Walsh is/was an idiot. Serial killers don't go to great lengths to dispose of their victims. They just leave them there and go on to the next victim.

Diver Dave in danger? Well, we don't call Condit "Scary Gary" for nothing. Actually, Condidit wouldn't dare do anything stupid, especially now!

I don't know why I kept thinking "Senator Gary Condit" ...

Maybe it's because he walks around as arrogant as a Senator! :^)

It was well documented last summer. I saw a list of the web sites "she" had visited. We'll find it.

Well, OK. But I still say it's just evidence that she was looking for a place to run. And if she rode a bus to the park, the mansion would be a reasonable place for there to be a bus stop.

Unreal. They are as corrupt as the rest of the government employees there.

It was prince somebody from Saudi Arabia that lived by Rock Creek Park at the Ambassadorship.

Shouldn't be too hard to dig up based on the fact that he is royalty.

What I liked was the way the media would call him Rep. Gary Condit, without putting that D behind his name, hoping that people would assume that meant republican!

Yes, the House.

Hey, if you are chasing a two year old around you're lucky to be able to find both shoes. When my youngest (now 6'3" and graduating H.S. next month) was that age if we turned our back he was off like a shot. Then there was the time he dumped a gallon of paint on the kitchen floor. He and the cat were just sitting there watching fortunately not playing in it.

But treasure these happy days you will look back with joy for the rest of your life.:^)

I feel bad for the Levy's whose happy memories will always be spoiled by this horror.

Spring rains uncovering the body was a suggestion by somebody on Fox news. I don't know anything, just feel sure it's Chandra.

True. I smell a rat - one who re-buried Chandra. Poor Chandra. P.S. We have not forgotten; Gary Condit's rotten!

I haven't read the whole thread yet so hope this comment isn't redundant at this point.

Has it occurred to anyone that the reason we only saw the cops searching on the paths is that the media were too prissy to leave the paths to photograph people searching elsewhere? Perhaps the cops searched more extensively but the media showed only the parts for which they got video.

Something else ..... there has been a lot of rain in the DC area lately. That could have caused erosion that allowed these remains to be visible now whereas they weren't earlier.

I'm not defending the cops ...... or anyone else for that matter ..... just raising some ideas for consideration.

Prayers for Chandra's family!

Probably happened the usual way: some guy letting his dog run free in the park, and the dog came back dragging a bone.

If so, the guy will probably be cited for a leash law violation.
