If someone can tell me how to get rid of that useless message box I will be glad to put my Texas flag back up. Ditto, but substitute California for Texas. That stupid box completely destroys the whole first page. I never read those announcements, but I have to scroll past it just to see the thread headings.
Hitting the refresh button should get rid of your state box.
I think I am "unsubscribed" from the stupid thing now. The flag is up and no idiot box. I get enough pings, FReep mail, and regular email from Texas FReepers and others to keep me busy.
