Back-firing is an understatement. The press can ask all the misleading poll questions they want, but the american people don't appreciate an unwarrented attack on their commander in chief in a time of war.

I love it, the Queen never imagined she would be challenged by anyone on her statements and is now suffering blowback. Can you imagine the filthy words that came out of her mouth when she heard what Ari said?

This is the new strategy. See, trying to tar and feather Bush for seeing an intelligence report in August doesnt cut it. First, he apparantly is the one who told the intelligence people to start breifing him on the possibility of internal targets, not just external ones. So he was actually being responsible and proactive. But for dems the real danger is that all these revelations coming out about warnings and memos have dates like 1995, 1998, 1999. So focusing on pre-9/11 is dangerous ground.

So the new strategy is to focus on the last six months and claim Bush hasnt done anything to fix all the holes that Clinton apparantly allowed for eight years. See, only Bush was president since September 11, you cant blame Bill Clinton for anything since then. So you see Hillary isnt pointing fingers at anyone for a lapse prior to 9/11, she's blaming Bush for not proving that terrorist attacks will all be caught in advance now. Look for all the other dems to do the same.

She ought to be careful about asking such a question because the answer is clearly yes. In fact, I remember one former president who (as a candidate) asked that question and ended up winning the Whitehouse in a landslide. Is she really so dense that she can't reason an answer to that question? Heck, we're better off today than we were on 1/21/02 when she and that jerkoff she is married to were gone.

Oh, guaranteed she took a poll.
Several thousand innocent American lives were snuffed out suddenly on 9/11 by psychopathic mass murderers. Each one of those victims left behind family, friends, coworkers, and colleagues. Add them all up and there are a whole lotta people alive today (Twenty, thirty-thousand? More?) who were directly, and profoundly, affected by the attacks. Most of them are in New York, and they absolutely seethe at any hint that some politician may be playing political games with their grief. And Americans in general instinctively feel the same way. Bride of Scumbag made a serious miscalculation. Bush people, take note.

Yep, the wife of the man who used an intern as a cigar humidor, who defiled the Oval Office of the hite House, who kept a head of state waiting while he received a BJ, who discussed military maneuvers on the phone with a senior member of Congress while the intern was on her knees servicing him..this women is going to advise president Bush on what he should be doing.....it's despicable that this creature sits in the US Senate......
