The one thing that differs from eight years ago when the Democrat pitbulls could sink their teeth into a political scrap of their likeing is they had ultimate media support and no opposition.
Today we have in our arsenal: Rush; Sean; Fox Television and FreeRepublic and stalwarts here like you. Plus Bush is canny. I don't always like the things he's done but he's canny. The court of public opinion is not so easily swayed by the court jesters this time around. V's wife.
Howdy, V's wife... yes, things have changed for the better regarding the flow of information. I know it's not quite as profound as we'd all like, but I do thing the web and talk radio are doing a lot towards bypassing the corrupt, celebrity-worshipping media. See reply #4... I wish I had expounded a little more on that subject, but it's sufficient to give you a feel for what I observed as it happened.
I actually noticed a similar thing happen the day before during the "Picture Issue"-- as the Jackal Pack press began circling, more & more angry callers came up on talk radio with refutations that seemed to have come off the web.
