Howdy, V's wife... yes, things have changed for the better regarding the flow of information. I know it's not quite as profound as we'd all like, but I do thing the web and talk radio are doing a lot towards bypassing the corrupt, celebrity-worshipping media. See reply #4... I wish I had expounded a little more on that subject, but it's sufficient to give you a feel for what I observed as it happened.

I actually noticed a similar thing happen the day before during the "Picture Issue"-- as the Jackal Pack press began circling, more & more angry callers came up on talk radio with refutations that seemed to have come off the web.

You mentioned the 'picture issue'. I couldn't figure why they were saying what they were. They used a picture of Robert Kennedy and President Kennedy during the Bay of Pigs... also I think if someone bothered to check what types of things were used during the election between clinton's terms, we would probably find a lot of bubba at disater sites, be they from flooding or hurricanes. He used everything as a photo op, so I would imagine it would be easier to show bubba as THE exploiter.

But, all of us on FR should recognize that WE ARE NOT THE AVERAGE AMERICAN. Just by logging on to FR you set yourself in the upper fraction of 1% of political junkies.

Job #1 is to learn from FR and PASS IT ON in your conversations with Fellow Americans. Everyone needs to learn the TRUTH about what is going on, and they ain't gonna get it from the LameStream Media.
