One advantage of these latest DemocRat attacks on Bush is that our talking heads, like Rush and Sean Hannity
are closing ranks behind GW.
They have now stopped criticizing GW on the left turns he has been taking on national issues and the Middle East.
I have to admit, I have been disappointed in Bush the last few weeks, but now all I want to do is defend our president against these unfair attacks.
Thanks Senator Dashle for uniting us.

Excellent point, fortress!!! I'm very glad they are closing ranks - the Democrats win by being divisive and creating animosity, such as among political views, race, gender, age etc. Republicans win when they are positive and friendly, like Reagan.

Secondly, on investigating 9/11, are Democrats sure they want to 'go there'? All trails lead right back to Clinton. Repeatedly, Bin Laden was offered for extradition during the Clinton administration. The offers were turned down summarily, each time. Three-thousand men, women and children are dead as a consequence. Moreover, on Clinton's watch, our intelligence agencies were decimated, as was our military. The FBI was mired in paralysis. A new director was installed only eight days before the 9/11 attacks.
My sentiments exactly. Thank you, John.

A wonderful essay, John. I forwarded this thread to Sean's producer.

Thanks, friend.
This really was beyond the pale and as low as they can go...
Amen -- though it's to be expected, given this was the party that defended the most criminal and treasonous imposter posing as "president" in the history of our free republic.

Don't be depressed, friend. I'm more confident than ever that Bush will come out of this completely unscathed, and Democrats will be scorching mad =^)

Great Post!
C-Span is now having their call in show, asking if the president should be criticized for the memo. Some "Republican", or so he says, just called in, and told the host he had voted for Bush, but now will change his vote come next election because Bush is showing his "profound ignorance".
So... I wonder who he will vote for? Hillary? Daschle? Gebhardt? Pluto? SPiderman?
It just amazes me that such a stupid statement would be made... but then I think back to Florida, and the 2000 election, and maybe I am not so amazed anymore.
I thought Condoleeza Rice did a tremendous job dispelling all these myths at her press conference on Thursday.
