Los Angeles Area Freepers, a Gathering Will Take Place on May 18th (Thread IV)
Los Angeles Chapter ^ | 05/16/2002 | DoughtyOne

Posted on 05/16/2002 8:07:54 PM PDT by DoughtyOne

If you live in the Los Angeles area we'd love to have you join us for an afternoon of food and refreshments with your fellow Freepers.  There are issues that need to be supported at the local, state and national levels.  Elections are coming up this fall.  We need to develop strategies that will see Conservative values advanced.  Come join us.  I think you'll have a great time.

We plan to socialize, eat, talk about important issues and have some fun.

Date: Saturday, May 18, 2002
Time: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Place: Glendale, California

Please Click here for the final details

Final Details

Please confirm your intentions to attend if you have't done so in the last 72 hours, so I can make sure our accomodations will be sufficient.
Use the final details link just above this request, then the eMail link at that site...

Thank you.

Where is that? I'd love to see Simon - it is something open to the public?

Texas bumps L.A.

Breaking news? The self esteem of the Houston meeting thread just took a nose dive.

The first freep I went to was at UCLA during Clinton's State of the Union address, which was being televised and attended by many local liberals one year. I had not met any of the FR gang, but somehow we picked each other out without any trouble. The liberals basically screamed at us throughout, it was a trip trying to talk over some of them.

Shortly thereafter, we did the Maher show, which was really fun. It was either Ann Coulter or Laura Ingram who was the guest we came to support, I'm ashamed to say I can't recall which fine lady it was. They are both terrific. Do you recall if you attended that show, or perhaps an earlier or later one, I'm sure there were other freeps of that show over time. My group sure had a good time!

It was Ms. Coulter. Mr. and Mrs. Texican were there, and incindiary. Others, too, perhaps, but that's what I recall.

Hope life has been treating you well!
