Democrats are aggressively complaining about the fund-raising letter, calling it unethical, politically unsuccessful, possibly illegal, and exploitative of the tragedy.

Terry McAwful also called the use of the 9/11 picture "grotesque." Well, it's hard to argue with him -- the Democrats of all people are experts in "grotesque," so they must know what they're talking about.

As to the use of the picture being "politically unsuccessful," if that's the case, why are they having such a hissy fit?

The Democrat Party is repugnant. May God strike me dead if I ever vote for one of those creeps.

Wait a minute! I didn't see where it said that W was standing in front of the wreckage of the WTC in the photos. How is pictures of him talking to Cheney exploiting 9-11? It was a disgusting comparison on the news tonight. A public domain picture of a courageous President is a far cry from renting out the Lincoln bedroom so hollyweird people can jump up and down on the Lincoln bed.

As you might guess, this story, published nowhere but nonetheless hot off the DNC Fax machine, was the number 2 story on both the NBC and ABC evening news shows. To describe these photos as the moral equivalency of the Lincoln Bedroom Sleepovers is "straining at a microscopic gnat."

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this fund-raising plan - but the DNC just has nothing else with which to attack, so they're counting on the media to do as they have in the past - carry their water for them.

Wouldn't it be a hoot, if tomorrow, the fundraisers announced-"Whoops-that picture taken of the president looking out the plane window, was actually taken last week-thanks to the DNC and the media for giving us all the free publicity!!." The photo is so generic, it could have been taken any day-McAuliffe and Gore made it sound like Bush was standing in front of a body or the towers crashing.They are such pigs.
