Two men in custody, believed to be Israelis (?!) after bomb sniffing dogs detected a Ryder truck with bomb residue in it. Additional tests with other higher tech sniffing devices confirmed the results.

Actually, there are more than one million Arabs with Israeli citizenship, but the report doesn't say they were citizens, but rather, Israeli nationals which would include anyone traveling under Israeli papers, and that could include a significant number of Palestinians from Gaza or the West Bank.
BRA-VO!
Why?
When the Israeli "art student/spy" story was first reported, person after person insisted all of them were Arab Isralis. Turns out they were not.
Then, as now, there was little to go on. But many were absolutely sure: 1. Nothing happened 2. Israeli Arabs did it.
Lol. Pinging the Arab quarter, I see.
Funny thing, I haven't seen doclady for a month now. Maybe Lebanese Betty got in trouble with the law again ;).
I think what they were trying to say here was that there were no previous legitimate rentals of the truck for transporting explosives implying that the two Arabs had to been handling or transporting the explosives & doing so illegally.
I do believe at least some Palistinian Arabs, meaning Arabs living in the West Bank or Gaza, travel on Israeli passports. Even if they don't, there is a significant population of Israeli Arabs, most of whom know how good they have it, being able to vote and having many of their right protected the Israeli Constitution, but there are always a few who don't, and who support the Islamofacists.
Y'know, I keep hearing that in here, but it doesn't square with my personal knowledge. As I mentioned I have a friend, a Christian who is a Syrian Arab. In his village in the Golan, he's had friends, Christian and Muslim, who've had their homes destroyed because "they might be terrorists." All you have to do in Israel to be suspected of "maybe terrorism" is be Arab.
What I want to know is:
WHERE THE HELL IS THE REST OF IT??
Seattle is repeatedly mentioned in information gathered by U.S. intelligence sources monitoring suspected al-Qaida terrorists and their sympathizers, and the Department of Justice has ordered an investigation to find out why.
The references to Seattle and the recent discovery of photographs of the city on a computer hard drive recovered from Osama bin Laden's fractured stronghold near Tora Bora, Afghanistan, led to a decision by Justice officials to determine whether the city or any of its landmarks, such as the Space Needle, may be a target, a source said yesterday.
"The photographs were cumulative of other intelligence," said one high-ranking source, who asked not to be identified. "While they, of themselves, would be a concern, they are not the first time Seattle has come up in connection with intelligence around possible terrorist acts."
Another source, who also requested anonymity, said Seattle has surfaced regularly in intelligence data reviewed by analysts in Washington, D.C.
"The city has earned the ignominious distinction of coming up very frequently on the nonspecific threat alerts," the source said.
"It's certainly in the top five, and my guess is that it is behind only New York and Washington."
And while the news has been filled with reports of a possible terrorist plot to fly a hijacked jet into one of the country's nuclear power plants, such as the plant on the Hanford nuclear reservation in Eastern Washington, published reports say the al- Qaida operative who told the FBI of the plot has not been credible in the past and the information has not been corroborated.(snip)
