"The president is not on our side," Tancredo told the paper, complaining that Bush supports an "open door" border policy that could lead to another terrorist attack. "Then the blood of the people killed will be on this administration and this Congress." He makes a comment like that and he can't understand why the Bush Administration is upset???

A bit strident yes but dead on? Absolutely.

I'm with Tancredo. He's right on. The truth hurts, doesn't it Mr. Rove? Just watch now as conservatives abandon Bush in droves.

Amazing isn't it?
However, Tancredo is stating the truth.

Sorry I have watched Tancredo on a few cable shows .. and yes he has some very valid points but I also couldn't help notice a little grand standing that he is doing
And making a comment like that does not help

Bush team strikes back against Tancredo, but the Bush team never strikes back at Beady eyed Daschle, goes to show you Bush is a liberal and is openly anti conservative.

"The president is not on our side," Tancredo told the paper, complaining that Bush supports an "open door" border policy that could lead to another terrorist attack. It's like gun control. Strict immigration control will keep everyone out except the terrorists. The Coast Guard is now saying that 25 terrorists have gotten into the U.S. by stowing away on cargo ships; how's the INS going to stop that?
(Next the Buchananites will say, "see, we told you that international trade was a bad thing.")

This guy, Tancredo, is speaking for most of the conservatives in GOP. Hallelujah someone is!! ROVE MUST GO!! Me thinks he has gotten a little power-crazy!!

I would hazard to say as much as I like President Bush, but dispise his 245(i) policy, if Tancredo runs for President in 2004 under a anti-Illegal immigration/restricted immigration policy he would probably win the Republican primary, and if he ran on a third party ticket would get enough votes to become our next president. Especially if/when we get hit with a terrorist attack in the USA. Just my 2 cents worth.

You and me both friend. You and me both.

The man hit the nail on the head. That's what got Rove raving.
Liberalism must be crushed! ...not coddeled.
The idea is catching on.
To: KantianBurke
Just one problem. Tancredo is on the warpath about illegal immigration from Mexico. But the terrorists come in from Canada, which is a much more open border, or on US visas direct from Europe. Tancredo's use of terrorism on the Mexican immigration issue is as phoney as the DEA's claim that the war on drugs fights terrorism.

They also come in through our ports as traditional 'stowaways'.

Stowaways on the Loose in the U.S."

We certainly do seem to be hearing lots of news reports prefaced by "President Bush sided with the Democrats today against members of his own party..." followed by smug affirmations from the RAT cheering sections that "this was the right thing to do" and "it's good to see the President reaching out...".
So Georgie is angry with another Republican, as usual...guess Tom won't get an invite to hang out with the Kennedy's at the White House and watch happy flicks. A Shame.
