The FBI is reviewing the CD-ROM, but cannot interview the student, who returned to Saudi Arabia at an unspecified date. The date was probably 9/12.
It is a good thing we have our good allies the Saudies, they will find this guy and turn him over right away.(yes indeed that is sarcasm.)

Good post.

Investigators are working on the possibility "trackd" and "plaen" are "tracked" and "plane" misspelled. Probably just products of the publik skoolz.

Student visa scam -- 9/11 connection. That's all I need to hear.
Forget screening them harder, foreign students should be banned outright until further notice. This is wartime, the leftist whiners can stick it right in their jumper.

a hand-drawn picture of a plane striking one of the World Trade Center towers, and a date book containing just one entry -- on Sept. 11 This raises the issue of who else knew of the CONSPIRACY to destroy the WTC before Sep. 11th and who is now not talking.

"Three of the students appeared in court on Tuesday and were released after each signed a US$2,500 unsecured bond. The man from Qatar was held while investigators checked his name against a terrorist watch list."
What in the H*LL are they doing releasing these possible terrorists???? These animals are our stated enemies, taking advantage of every benefit of America's freedoms and technologies .. so they can turn them on us. I want them all dead or rotting in some filthy cell for the rest of their days!!!!

Looks like the reporter also flunked his English proficiency spelling exam.
Thanks for the post.

So, is it still tinfoil hattism to think the sprinklers might have been tampered with at the WTC? If you look at the pretty good opsec they had, where most of the hijackers did not know the mission, what then was the purpose of these people knowing?

The entry said, "Trackd the World Trade Center or the Pentagon trackd for the plaen." Investigators are working on the possibility "trackd" and "plaen" are "tracked" and "plane" misspelled. Any thoughts on why Arab Muslims would write their notes in English?
And on a separate matter, would you want these guys taking the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foriegn Language) test for you? Makes one wonder how hard it can be.
To: knak
each had stand-ins take English proficiency exams for them, authorities charge. Well that might explain why:
Investigators are working on the possibility "trackd"
and "plaen" are "tracked" and "plane" misspelled.

"Alongside these items were materials that may have been destined for use in seeking new targets. A Rolodex contained locations of oil refineries. There was a book identifying commercial airliners. Videos titled Incredible Air Disasters and Incredible Water Disasters were also found, as well as a student flight manual issued by the Federal Aviation Administration." Nice to know what your neighbors are up to, isn't it?

The entry said, "Trackd the World Trade Center or the Pentagon trackd for the plaen." Investigators are working on the possibility "trackd" and "plaen" are "tracked" and "plane" misspelled.Maybe these are the guys who programmed the handheld GPS's used by the attackers.
1) Hani Hanjour and Salem Alhamzi (the Pentagon terrorists) are known to have been at the Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center which is about 3 miles from the Pentagon in Falls Church.
2) The Pentagon plane was said to have actually hit the ground before hitting the Pentagon itself, indicating that the GPS target was actually set from Route 27, about 100 yards from the west wall of Pentagon.
3) The Pentagon itself would have been virtually invisible from the low altitude, high speed flight, mandating the use of portable GPS to accurately locate the target.
"Track" is a word commonly used in handheld GPS jargon. A "GPS track" is a known route from point A to point B.
