Weather—65-70, bright sun.
So, I arrived on-scene early due to the 2nd Amendment Sisters setting up at 11:00 for a Libertarian Party thing nearby. With the 2AS, was a group that out-numbered them called the pink-pistols (pink triangle...you get the picture). I helped them set up their tables and went off to battle the weenies. On-hand at 12:00 was michaelje, ElectricStrawberry, and Bo-gunner---Oh yeah, can’t forget that “the Freak” was riding his bike through the area—screaming “Down with Jews!! Down with Christians!!” What a nut-cake.
Unlike the past 2 weeks, at no time was there even the hint of violence in the air. However, Bo-gunner and I gave them as much hell as we could, especially about their variable statistics. Here’s some that I recorded memos on:
1. The group has always claimed to have been gathering in this location for 3 years (usually to point out the stupid fact that we’ve only been there for 8 months—like it matters). This week Kambridge Kenny (John MacLeod—who doesn’t like to be called “Johnny”—for future reference) claimed 4 years, the “Traitor”(Jimmy) claimed 2 years, and JP-Platt (Virginia Platt) claims 3 years.
2. That magical number of 500,000 Iraqis have starved due to US sanctions reared it’s lying heads again. Recall that a few weeks ago it was 250,000 and 200 die each day. This week, it’s more specific—500,000 Iraqi “children under the age of 5” have died due to the sanctions. Now I ask you: Out of a population of 22 million, how many are under 5? Let alone, if you take away 500,000 of them—how many could possibly be left? It’s illogical to me.
They spewed their filth to the jeerings of the public and the vocal harassment of their enemy. It’s the same old junk every week (just the numbers have been changed to protect the truth). They were trying to get people to blow $20 on a fund-raiser at the local community college to help out the people of Afghanistan—more than likely to help out the pockets of the IACenter, because they really need their minions to think their rallies are “helping” out the people in other countries. One delusional youth (see pic) got the mike and was talking about Utopia and all that drug-induced lack of realism.
The action started as the Teacher took the mike. I gotta admit, I love shutting this guy up. The uncovered mystery of the day is that Bush and everyone that drives a car is to blame for the F-5 tornado in Maryland that killed some very unfortunate Americans (where does he get this stuff?). Every piece of data, every statistic, every word was met with knowledge—I admit to stocking up on factual ammo during the week just to battle this freak.
So, it started late (like usual) and ended right at the ring of 2 on the “Christian” church bells, so we all went down to the 2AS gathering. Unfortunately, the Freak and the Teacher went as well and tried their luck with another knowledgeable crowd. They just don’t realize that “normal” people don’t buy their cow-flops.
On a good note, when the weenies said “Capitalism doesn’t work,” I backed out and got a hot-dog from the vendors that hate them. I don’t even like hotdogs (and some stranger bought it for me—gotta love the perks of having been in the service), but yelled it to the square that it was capitalism at work. Pointing out other “working” capitalist countries and other “failing” socialist countries did no good to jar them to reality.
The train ride home was uneventful, but the walk home was enlightening. The “adults” gave me bad looks and gestures, and the kids 5 yrs-16 yrs. were saluting and pledging my 2 flags that I have the nads to walk the streets of Jamaica Plain with. I can hope that colleges and substitute teachers like “the Teacher” won’t corrupt ALL of them. I won’t have a report next week—fishin’ on the Cape—but looks like a terrorist gathering on Wednesday. I’m not a typist—rather work with bio-stuff

Nothing shuts up the "utopianist" like a little bit of "facts and reality". In a "utopia" I'd be a supermodel married to a rockstar, but since that's not the case, we have deal with that nasty little thing called "reality".
Good work on your FReep and post more reports of future ones! It's good to see others at work standing down the enemy.

p.s. was "The Teacher" the guy with the 1970's Donald Sutherland hair who almost got his fingers ripped off by a certain freeper for putting them in his face at the anti-anti-war protest we went to in November in Copley Square? That guy got in my face and I almost lost it, the idea of knocking him out or pushing him into traffic crossed my mind.
