The UN opposes Mother's Day!
Tell the Senate to REJECT the UN's CEDAW!

Enjoy this year's Mother's Day. According to the Family Research Council (frc.org), if the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) has its way, the annual celebration will be our last.

Not only does the committee overseeing implementation of CEDAW argue to legalize prostitution, it also discourages motherhood in an attempt to level every kind of distinction between men and women at every level of society. Yet the Daschle Democrats in the U.S. Senate have suggested they may ratify the radical feminist group's proposition before the United Nations -- something even Bill Clinton's administration refused to do.

Five years ago, the CEDAW Committee rebuked Slovenia because "less than 30 percent of children under three years of age ... were in formal day care." Then, in 1999, the CEDAW Committee criticized Ireland for its constitution promoting "a stereotypical view of the role of women in the home and as mothers." The list goes on and on.

Believe it or not, CEDAW even found fault with the country of Belarus for "the continuing reintroduction of such symbols as a Mother's Day." And now Senate Democrats want to ratify CEDAW.

Despite their professed goal to end gender discrimination, the group is obviously anti-family and anti-mother. Their agenda is an offense to family values and deserves nothing more than the Bush administration's disdain -- particularly in the upcoming Senate hearing.

Click "Go!" above to urge your Senators to publicly reject CEDAW's proposition and continue to hold the line in defending the principled beliefs and traditions of America's families!

In honor of the UN, I believe we need to promote a new UN World Holiday. LETS CALL IT IDIOTS DAY! Surely we can find enough UN supporters to pay tribute to, for a one name fits all generic UN group of Idiots.

Join the 17,532 people who have supported this petition already by signing below. Help Stop Publication Of Pro-Pedophile Book In Minnesota!

Dear Concerned Parents,Grandparents, and those who care!:

As the Executive Director of Survivors And Victims Empowered, and Managing Editor of Treating Abuse Today, I am outraged that the University of Minnesota is going to publish Judith Levine's book, Harmful to Minors: The Perils of Protecting Children from Sex.

Levine's book is a manifesto for child molesters--and will create an even greater epidemic of child molestation in this country than already exists. Every day I see the results of the devastating consequences of child molestation on children and on adult victims of child abuse.

Levine's book will be used by homosexual and heterosexual child molesters, as well as pedophiles to legitimize the sexual abuse of children.

Levine's previous work provides us a clue to her pro-pedophile thinking. In an article published on the pornographic Nerve.com web site, Levine says this: "Yes, humans have bodies, which from birth appear to seek pleasurable touch as surely as slugs seek moisture." In another comment on Nerve.com, she describes a Sally Mann photo, "The Alligator's Approach," which shows a naked three-year-old as "sexy."

She describes men this way: "Men's sexuality is mean and violent, and men so powerful that they can 'reach WITHIN women to ....construct us from the inside out.' Satan-like, men possess women, making their wicked fantasies and desires women's own. A woman who has sex with a man, therefore, does so against her will, 'even if she does not feel forced."

Here are some of Levine's views on adult/child sex published on the University of Minnesota web site: "My book says that sexuality is a fact of life, and a potentially wonderful part of growing up for children at all stages of their lives. It's not sex itself that is harmful to children, but the conditions under which they might express themselves sexually...."

Levine says the greatest danger to children is the "...conservative religious agenda that would deny minors all sexual information and sexual expression." Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura Must Stop Publication Of A Book Promoting The Sexual Molestation Of Children! I am urging you -- as a concerned parent -- to call upon Governor Jesse Ventura to use his authority as the leader of Minnesota to stop publication of Judith Levine's pro-pedophile/child molestation book! This is an outrage--and must be stopped!

State Representative Tim Pawlenty, majority leader in the Minnesota House of Representatives has shown courage in asking the University to stop release of Levine's book. Let us hope that Governor Ventura follows his lead.

Judith Levine is recommending that adults engage in criminal behavior with children! All states have statutory rape laws on the books. She apparently wants adults and children to break these laws so they can pursue "pleasurable touch."

The University of Minnesota is a tax-funded institution. It should not be funding a book that urges citizens to violate the laws of the state by sexually abusing children!

Please sign the petition below to Governor Ventura. If Judith Levine wants to promote pedophilia and sexual abuse, let her join the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) and post her views on this group's web site. She does not deserve to have her views promoted by the taxpayers of Minnesota!

Sincerely, Jim Hughes Executive Director Survivors And Victims Empowered Publisher: Treating Abuse Today

Dear Governor Ventura: As a concerned citizen, I am calling upon you to use your authority as Governor of Minnesota to stop publication of Judith Levine's pro-pedophile book, Harmful to Minors: The Perils of Protecting Children from Sex to be published by the University of Minnesota Press.

Levine's book is a call for the normalization of adult/child sex and will contribute to an increase in child abuse throughout Minnesota and the rest of our nation. Child molesters do not need more encouragement to sexually abuse children. The recent scandal of child abuse within the Catholic Church should serve as a warning children need to be protected in our culture from sexual predators. The University of Minnesota is giving aid and comfort to pedophiles by publishing Levine's book.

The taxpayers of Minnesota fund your university and should not have to support the publication of a book that advocates the violation of state laws against adult/child sex and child abuse. Levine's book is a call for criminal action on the part of adults to sexually abuse children. This must be stopped!

I am urging you to cancel publication of this book immediately! Your state must not be involved in an effort to promote the molestation of children or the breaking of state and federal laws against sexual abuse!

I agree with the views recently expressed by Jim Hughes, Executive Director of Survivors And Victims Empowered (SAVE), a child abuse recovery group, that if Judith Levine wants to promote pedophilia, let her join the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) so she can publisher her views on their web site. The taxpayers of Minnesota and your state should not provide her credibility and a forum for her pro-child molestation views!

Please take a stand against this woman's efforts to normalize adult/child sex! Cancel publication of her book immediately!

got to www.millionsofamericans.com you can sign the petition. OPS4

FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING ON ALL STAMP SHEETS!

Simple...to the point

Even Democrats from Palm Beach County should undestand it!

Unfortunately, they don't.

Palm Beach County leads the nation in the number of IB Schools. That means that the student graduating from such a school earns an International Baccalaureate.

That sound harmless, right?

Their literature also anoints the student as a World Citizen!

I kid you not. I've seen the literature from the Palm Beach County School District. Remember, I live here!

PS. There is a waiting list a mile long for the next one which is under construction.

Folks, do you think these students get to know US history or UN history?

Not being an abortion fan, nevertheless, I have to say that the UN and their minions are the singlemost powerful argument I have ever seen for retroactive abortion to date. They also represent a powerful case for the validity of the theory human biological evolution.

Relax. It is unlikely that people will change their minds on this matter after reading this one book. In fact, I would be quite curious to examine her arguments. It's pretty obvious that very few, if any, societies have allowed sex with children, but why? I doubt she is right, but perhaps her arguments can deepen our understanding of human nature.

It is neither right not wise to stress tradition and custom too much. In the long run all traditions will collapse if they cannot be defended with rational arguments. Ideas rule the world. That you seek to ban this book implies that you cannot beat her with weapons of the mind. Let her publish, and perhaps we'll see a bunch of intellectuals give her book very negative reviews if she deserves them.

Furthermore, how can you be comfortable not knowing what is wrong with her reasoning?

Anna Jarvis, of Grafton, West Virginia, is acknowledged as the founder of Mothers' Day.

Anna Jarvis, the founder of Mothers Day, was born in Webster, Taylor County, West Virginia, on May 1, 1864, the ninth of eleven children born to Ann Marie and Granville Jarvis. The family moved to Grafton, four miles south of Webster, when Anna was a year and a half old. It was here that the future founder of Mothers Day spent her childhood, receiving her early education in public schools.

In 1881, she enrolled at the Augusta Female Academy in Staunton, Virginia, now Mary Baldwin College. Upon finishing, Miss Jarvis returned to Grafton where she taught school for seven years.

From childhood, Anna Jarvis often heard her mother say that she hoped that someone would one day establish a memorial for all mothers, living and dead. One incident in particular was a driving force in keeping this wish alive. The incident occurred during a class prayer given by Mrs. Jarvis in the presence of her daughter, Anna, then age twelve, at the conclusion of Mrs. Jarvis' lesson on "Mothers of the Bible."

She closed the lesson with the prayer "I hope that someone, sometime will found a memorial mothers day commemorating her for the matchless service she renders to humanity in every field of life. She is entitled to it." Anna never forgot that prayer, and at her mother's graveside service, Anna's brother Claude heard her recall that prayer and say "...by the grace of God, you shall have that Mothers Day."

After the death of her father in 1902, Anna Jarvis along with her mother and sister Lillie, had moved to Philadelphia to reside with her brother Claude. After her mother's death on May 9, 1905, Miss Jarvis began an intense campaign of fulfill the wish of her mother. The rest of the story.

Frankly, I can't see how they could do it. They
might try to take the holiday out of national recog-
nition, but they can't stop people from celebrating it
among themselves, if they want to. If they do this,
would have to get rid of the holidays in all countries!

In many places thoughout the world, and at various
times throughout history; people found a way to celeb-
rate holidays, cultural or religious. They can't post
police outside peoples' houses everywhere. But serious-
ly, the U.N. has grown way out of their bounds. Yet
somehow, as I wrote above, people found enterprizing
ways to celebrate, and many got away with it!

So according to this committee, it's a BAD thing not to have your children in day care. My god. They are insane.
