Please meet Joe Brower
I had fun hanging out of a Huey at 2,000 feet!
Pictures were taken when Joe was assigned to the Infantry Training School and 5th MAB on Camp Pendleton, Ca. 1981.
Joe was a USN Corpsman who volunteered for duty with the FMF. He went to Great Lakes for both basic and Hospital Corps school.

Are you listening to these songs I have been posting? I hope so! Here is another.....
Ive Been Everywhere is performed by Chip Dockery. He wrote this brag song for a pilot friends going home party. It lists the places he has been, the people (mostly forward air controllers) and agencies with which he has worked, and the missions he has flown.
Chip Dockery did two tours with the 13th Tactical Fighter Squadron (Panther Pack), 432nd Tactical Fighter Wing, at Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base between 1968 and 1971 and returned in 1972 during Linebacker II with the 308th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 31st Tactical Fighter Wing. He flew almost 400 missions into all target areas in the war theater with the majority being against interdiction targets in Barrel Roll and Steel Tiger (northern and southern Laos)

I'm sensitive to poison ivy. I can look at it and break out. The soap trick goes back to my Grandmother. The folks who lived off the land knew how to make their own medicine. Of course, what she used on us was her home made lye soap, but the Octagon is close to the home made stuff.

Oh...how well I remember my grandmother's homemade lye soap! I also remember her telling me the story about when her brother lost his finger in a columbine. Her dad picked up the finger and stuck it back on the boy and then tied it up with rags. Once the finger was secured they "kep ta pourin turpentine on it till it healed good" !!! Can you imagine the pain of that? But my great uncle had that finger all the time I knew him!

Oh, I have a PAGE,,,,,,,I just don't have a profile to put on it. Yes, you do have a page, and it isn't entirely blank. I think what you have put on your page is very clever. It's so "you", whoever you are. LOL! I'm sure that's why you came in third. :-)
I love your profile page by the way.
Thanks, Victoria. :-)
