Please meet Joe Brower
I had fun hanging out of a Huey at 2,000 feet!
Pictures were taken when Joe was assigned to the Infantry Training School and 5th MAB on Camp Pendleton, Ca. 1981.
Joe was a USN Corpsman who volunteered for duty with the FMF. He went to Great Lakes for both basic and Hospital Corps school.

I took some pictures of the wisteria. As soon as I get a chance to scan them I'll post 1 or 2.

Aloe vera juice can also be used to stop the itching and blistering.

Well, you know, I was thinking...
There's supposed to be some pretty good fishing off the coast, isn't there? And they're not three-eyed fish, either!! So, you ladies could see the rose gardens, and hit the spas, and Tonk could take us guys out on a 47-boat for some fishing, right?
Whaddya say, guys?

"The album (I am quoting here from the cover) is part of an ongoing undertaking by the Vietnam Veteran's Oral History and Folklore Project to collect, preserve and make more widely known the folksons of the Vietnam War. The hope is that veteran's will be encouraged to remember and to share with the Project songs from their own experience: songs which they sang or collected in the form of manuscripts, books, records or tapes. Obviously, there are gaps in our knowledge of this material--we (the writers) would have very much liked to have included songs by women, African-Americans, Hispanics and Native Americans who served in the war, but so far none have been collected. We are also very short of Marine, Navy and Coast Guard material. We should be most rateful if anyone who knows of singers or songs from these traditions would contact us at the Project address below."

How's that plug for the project???? The CD was published by Flying Fish Records, Inc., Chicago, Ill., and it would be appropriate to mention that backup vocals were by Lisa Ellis, Sherry Hughes, and Kathy Jonas. Tom Price played guitar and did backup vocals, as did Robin Price.

Hi Billie, it would be so neat if you could come to a Canteen get together. I would love to meet you in person some day.
(((((((( hug ))))))))
I think you are rightl...LOL...I gave lodwick a hug for his warm post. heh heh He is a cutie
To: AFVetGal
Hydrocortisone cream should be the best I think. Maybe what you are using isn't strong enough? My son used to get it and the he always had to go to the doctor to get medication. Sorry it is so miserable for you. If it is hot where you are, heat and sweat makes it all the worse. :(

Not really - but from you two playmates - yeah, I'd take a great big hug!
So good to see you Billie. Thanks for working your knickers down to your ankles Bunny. ;-)
