Sent my faxes off earlier and pinged a few people on another thread about this. 245i is like a bad nightmare that won't end. The President and Congress are determined to shove this down our throats.

More pandering to the hispanics by Bush. He will not win on this issue as he will lose as many (or more) votes as he gains in doing this. This is a subversion of the Law and a travesty. I'm through with wishy-washy republicans. Constitution Party - here I come!

The White House knows these amnesties are incredibly unpopular. Hence this latest attempt to attach the Section 245(i) amnesty to something that almost never gets voted down on the floor -- a supplemental spending bill.To bad The White House does not have the guts to come out in the light of day and do this.
To: Helix
It is useless. They have already decided to do it and no amount of protesting or e-mail or phone calls will stop them. They will sneak it through attached on page 9216 of some spending bill in the dark of night.
This country is doomed without a revolution.

I keep wondering why Rush Limbaugh hasn't been all over this issue. He sure spent plenty of hours decrying CFR, but seldom even mentions immigration, illegal immigration, amnesty for illegal immigrants. I'm beginning to wonder whether he has a gardener and a maid sans greencards who are paid "under the table." With his 20 million listeners, he should be all over this issue.

Brilliant way to get this amnesty thing wrapped up. They all like voting for spending bills. LOL Gotta love Bush, good policy and he knows how to impliment it.

Why give amnesty to illegals? We already have too many criminals.
We have enough problems with many of the legal immigrants. For example, Melanie Jeanbeaucejour was the nanny to a 19-month-old child whom she brutally beat to death. She was ordered to be deported after serving only 2 years for this vicious crime. However, the Board of Immigration Appeals overturned this decision, saying that this was not a crime of violence.
The three members of this board who blocked her deportation are:
Cecelia Espenoza, former prof at Stm Mary's Law School, San Antonio
Gustavo Villageliu, a former immigration judge in Miami
Lory D. Rosenburg, former lecturer at Washington College of Law at American University
All three were appointed by Att. Gen. Janet Reno. Time to get rid of them. These people are demented.
