Either Drudge is nuts or O'Reilly. Can't wait to see who heads to the padded wagon first.

Another tempest, according to Matt. I like Matt's reportage, mostly I really do, but he sometimes takes personal issues way, way, way too far.
Yes, Matt, we know you don't like O'Reilly. Yes, Matt, we know you don't like GW. Yes, Matt, we know you don't like............oh, never mind.

It's really a shame that Drudge, who is so insecure, is this jealous of O'Reilly's new show.

This is fun, drudge rats out WestWood one and oreilly gets poed.
BTW did anyone listen to his new program almost turned it on cause ED was on, but decided not to.
He is on such an underpowered station out of chicago, couldn't really hear it.

Oh Bill, if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Drudge does this sort of thing; it's his job. Yours is truly different, please don't start one of these silly, I mean who cares bickering bits of nonsense. Lets hear news fair and balanced. Matt Drudge has other things to do.

Matt Drudge's job is to report the facts.
Bill O'Reily's job is to report the facts.
Both of them will express their opinions as humans. Unlike the liberal media, they do not pretend otherwise.
And this is a problem?

Drudge might better spend his time keeping his website current versus the 10 or so 'stories' that linger as 'news' for hours upon hours at a time...
Seriously, I do not understand why anybody would visit the Drudge site for the 'latest' news...latest gossip maybe, but news?

Listen People, I know that both of these guys are not saints, and have their different views, but we really need to pull together! I am talking about ALL Conservatives, and Libertarians! We do not need to give the Liberal Socialist Party, or their News Organizations more "ammo" agaist us. My personal thoughts are that O'R is a fake Conservative, although he puts on a good show sometime.

Drudge has a nice set of links to news sources (except for not having FreeRepublic anymore). But other than that he's pretty darn uninteresting. O'Reilly is over the top but he holds people's feet to the fire pretty good. I'll have to go with O'Reilly.

I don't see how anyone can take any satisfaction from watching these two guys in a cat fight that's self-defeating for each.
I don't care if they're both just nominal conservatives or whatever category we place them in. It's a FACT that both of them have national air time. And at least they're not on the dark side like Begala and Carville.
What good does it do our cause to snicker and hope one eats the other up or vice-versa? They're both acting like hysterical kids to their own detriment, and we shouldn't lick our chops over this. The liberals will be licking theirs.

I think Matt Drudge has a personal vendetta against O'Reilly. I really don't care much for Drudge I get my news from Free Republic. PERIOD!

Oh and another thing I heard Drudge's radio show once, it absolutely sucked. I'd rather listen to sex talk on the FM station then Drudge who states something on his show then pauses for 30 seconds then says something again and pauses. Sportsradio is much better than listening to drudge on the radio.
Suggestion from Dengar01. Radio Free Republic should be on during Drudge's timeslot, oh wait then he might go after Jim Rob, Bob J and Diotima on his website.

OR is frequently a blowhard and hothead. He's living proof that once big bucks and big fame are attained, it's just about impossible, for just about anyone, to keep one's perspective and sense. When people are always telling you how wonderful you are and giving you millions to prove it, you can really go off the deep end when a little criticism hits home. Likely the "crack" remark was a joke, but some of the other stuff I've seen on OR's show is not...
Frankly, OR has no CLASS.
Notice that when competition shows up at Rush's door, even when he's down and deaf, he says graciously, "Come on in, the water's fine." He knows that he makes it look easy, and it's really tough. Whether this graciousness is absolutely sincere, I don't care. All effective courtesy is a form of civilized hypocrisy.
