I don't want to sounds like a nut. But is anyone else having that sick feeling that this could be it. That this could be the beginning of the End. That the Apocalypse, Armageddon, Revelations is starting now. I think I am probably overreacting. But at times it seems irrefutable. As a pretty serious Christian, how should I respond, what is the response? I am confused, I appreciate Freeper help from fellow Christians for this confused Catholic. God BLess

This is not the end times. While the stock market may take a dump tomorrow, the adults of the world have everything under control. Sleep tight tonight. The actions of Sharon willl make the world a safer place.

This particular event might or might not be of special eschatological significance. But it is certain that we are one day closer to the return of Jesus Christ than we were yesterday. The bottom line is the promise of the Scriptures: put your trust (directly) in the Lord Jesus Christ for your eternal life, and you will be saved.

I don't think that, but I do feel worried about how is this all going to turn out.

The Israeli/Palestine thing seems like a festering open wound that will never heal.... And our world has changed so much since Sept 11th - when they brought this to our front door.

We can't look away from any of this, and we shouldn't either.

I believe we have the right President to lead our country now, and if you think back in history....nothing ever was a sure thing for any of the wars/hardships our forefathers went through...

Like George Bush said last Sept, this Our time now...we've got to do what we can to stop the madness.

My answer is short but totally serious: No.

But there is a fear in me that this may be the last night or two before the start of a gradual escalation into a widespread war. However my gut instinct says some quiet as Sharon returns, then some action(but not the massive war that so many seem to be expecting), much EU/ME wailing and gnashing of teeth, and then some more tense quiet.

Yeah, I get those feelings too. I don't believe this is it though. This will be a colossal mismatch. Israel is going to kick butt.

If we go after Iraq, we will kick butt.

But I don't criticize you for thinking that way. I have some of those same feelings.

It could be. Or maybe not, if you are a Christian you know that God is going to be with you all the way no matter if you believe in pre-, mid- or post-trib.

If you are right with Him (and you should be anyway) it doesn't matter.

But I don't think we are in the endtime yet.

It's enough to make even a lot of us usual skeptics think twice. Hard to ignore the fact that such a tiny place could be the center of the world's attention. Hell, it's almost a pivot point. Spooky.
