Based on the strategy of the Mormons who are mostly concentrated in Utah, American Muslims could pick one state out of the fifty US states where they could settle and win representation in the Senate with two seats and also claim Congressional seats and offices of the Governor, Mayor, and local government. The estimated population of Muslims in America in 2002 is close to 8 million. It may take an approximate one million Muslim Americans to migrate to a state such as Wyoming, Montana, Delaware, Vermont, Dakotas, or Alaska to make a significant difference. These states have a small population base, and a million Muslims moving in these states could help bring about a demographic change in favor of Muslims and their political influence.
Migration of one million Muslims out of a total population of 8 million represents an overall 12% impact, which is quite manageable. After the partition of the Indian subcontinent in 1947, Muslims migrated in numbers much larger than one million.
It will need the Muslims to have a higher clout to make a difference in the US foreign policy and curb the human rights violations in the Middle East. But migration (Hijra) of one million American Muslims would be a struggle for a higher cause rather than a manipulative step to serve self-interests.
What we DO have is some 2 million Muslims of Mideast descent here, 95% of them legally, but only about 30% citizens. Thus only some 600,000 VOTERS.
There are also some 100,000 card-carrying Black Muslim members and another 1 to 2 million African Americans swayed more or less significantly by Muslim ideas.
In the absence of the alien element, I am not sure the Black Muslim movement is much of a threat. But with the addition of the foreign Arab and Pakistani element, it becomes lethal.
The two million MM's are increasing by some 150,000 per year in immigration, and by a birth rate put at some 30-33 per thousand per year, with deaths almost negligible in so young a population. Thus the MM's have overall rate of increase of some 7.5% from immigration and 2.5% from births, so 10% total. That will double their numbers every 7.2 years, and that means 4 million by 2010, 8 million by 2017, 16 million by 2024, 32 million by 2032, 64 million by 2039, 128 million by 2046, 256 million by 2054. Thus we expect that Mideastern Muslims will be a majority in the USA by 2050.
Count our blessings. In France it will be by 2020!
Remember, that's the numbers the Muslims themselves give. Hardly accurate, I'd say.

Do a little fact checking next time please. There is a higher concentration of Mormons in Utah, but there are more Mormons OUTSIDE of the USA than inside it so it isn't accurate to say Mormons are mostly concentrated there in Utah or even the USA. Utah Mormons only account for something like 10% of the total worldwide.
I think you will find that Muslims are more more concentrated then Mormons are already, especialy since those that do move to other nations form their own separate comunities and don't integrate with the general population like Mormons do. I think what they do lack is a leader to be united behind, and I hope they lack it for some time to come.
