Clinton As A TV Talk Show Host?
(CNSNews.com) - It's been mentioned before, and now it's making headlines:
The Los Angeles Times reported Thursday that former President Bill Clinton has met twice with NBC executives to discuss the possibility that he might host his own TV talk show. According to the newspaper, the discussions are preliminary, but Clinton is said to be seriously interested. He reportedly wants to be paid $50 million a year to become "the next Oprah Winfrey," according to the newspaper. Neither NBC nor Clinton are commenting publicly. Stay tuned...
"I, however, regard Clinton as a psychopath, and do not believe that the worst about him even began to be suspected until recentlywith the disclosures of Juanita Broaddrick, and the confirmation (through congressional testimony by the perjurers apprentices) of presidential slanders against Monica Lewinsky. With the impeachment battle played out, one is left to contemplate the lies he told, not just in publicand to the publicbut in relative private, and also the motives he had for telling them, and finally (and crucially) his cold-blooded ways of doing so. " Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire, Christopher Hitchens
Moreover, just think of the high moral caliber of his guests and past acquaintances. Bill crying and moaning with them in full "I feel your pain, baby" quivering lip mode. Maybe, he can play around with his sax and talk about how he could have done this, and done that, as he coped with unfair media bias, the mean-spirited VRWC, and how the Constitution obstructed many of his grandiose schemes.
The liberal gals and boys will surely swoon in delicious delight and conservative men and woman will gain more incontrovertible evidence of why liberalism sucks.
So here's to The Bubba Knows Best Show!
Have you finished that book yet? LOL :->
Just think of the Omen trilogy. There you have it! He has become untouchable, sad to say.
I don't think he would do that. More likely he'd unzip his pants, pull them down and say "kiss it".
They're offering Reagan a talk show , too? Hey, it's better than giving it to the rapist-n-chief..
Sounds like a good boycott issue. Find out who's advertising during the show, and let them know how much you loved their products - until the Clinton show started.
I wonder if their e-mail system can handle 80,000 e-mails a day...everyday...day in and day out?
Of course this question is purely hypothetical. I'm only wondering about the size of their e-mail system.
Besides, isn't that sort of large for a woman?
Clinton is just so jealous of Rush Limbaugh that he will do anything to get on the airwaves so he can listen to Rush and then bash him and the rest of us conservatives. I believe Clinton will get the same warm response Carville and Begala have received - no audience.
If NBC wants to throw what little money they have after BAD, well they could end up making a faster dive into the toilet than I thought they would - they actually might beat out CNN or ABC (into the toilet that is).
I guess this would be the opposite of "Must-See TV."
Great idea! Give the ratings boost to the other shows in Billy Jeff's timeslot! I'm all for that! I plan on tuning in FoxNews!
Bingo! Here you go!

How Can I miss You (when You Wont Go Away?)
------------------------------------------
(capo the second fret)
G C
I've talked to your mother and I've talked to your dad,
G C
They say they've tried but it's all in vain,
G C A
I've begged and I've pleaded, I've even got mad,
D G
Now we must face it, you give me a pain
(chorus)
F C
How can I miss you when you won't go away?
F C
Keep tellin' you day after day,
F
But you wont listen,
C A
You only stay and stay-ee-ay
D7 G C
How can I miss you when you won't go away?
Your never-ending presence really cramps my style
I dream that it won't always be the same
At first I was attracted, but after a while,
Have you ever heard of the hard-to-get game?
(repeat chorus)
Out of three billion people, why must it be me?
Oh why oh why won't you cut me loose?
Just do me a favor and listen to my plea,
I'm not the only chicken on the roost
(repeat chorus)
