Clinton in a talk show would be funny if we had the "Saved by the Bell" sound lines to go along with it. You know the loud wooooo, when someone says a double entendre. Since there are so many likely words and phrases that could have a double meaning in his case, it could be real funny, in an appropriately adolescent way.

Ooooooo, interesting idea...maybe we can also have one of those canes that come out from behind the curtain, and grab Clinton by the neck and rip him off stage...Now that I would watch...

If Clinton hosts a talk show, who would you most like to see as his guest? Lorena Bobbitt.

Some experts said Clinton also would risk his status as a world statesman by aligning himself so closely with the issues common to afternoon or late-night talk shows such as adultery, rape, child abuse and teen pregnancy.Risk his status as a world statesmen? In whose eyes? And who better to discuss these topics than someone with his expertise.

That is a picture of Linda Bloodworth Thomason and Marki Post, close friends of Bill and Hill, jumping on a bed at the White House the night Clinton was inaugurated to serve his first term.
It's Lincoln's bed. It tells me how much respect they had for where they were, how about you?

William J. Clinton has the number of the Beast Interesting.
But I cannot really make sense of it without my tin-foil beanie.

Bill Clinton, This Is Your Li_e! ...Mr. impeached former president, our next guest is man who worked closely with you and your wife and yet you claim not to know who hired him... Craig Livingstone, ladies and gentlemen < applause > ...Here is a corporate executive who discussed lowering bans on technology sales to China with you. What's that? You don't recall? Well, welcome....
...Our next guest goes back to your Arkansas days as guv'ner. She claims that you raped her and told her to 'put some ice on it' < oooooooooooh >, ladies and gentlemen, Juanita Broderick everybody...
There's enough material that they could run a new episode every day for years.

The funniest thing is the thread on the DUmpster, with half the denizens arguing that a Clinton Show would overcome the right-wing bias of the media, and the other half arguing that Clinton's dignity would be compromised by the job. Did they explain where Clintoon was supposed to have gotten dignity? Those two don't even fly the same airlines.
One poster at DU calls the Slickster "Big Dog". I guess that's because he likes to hump legs and should be fixed.
I wonder how advertisers pay for their air time. Would the Clinton people force them to pay for the whole season up front? The first commercial breaks on Clinton's show would be worth the sponsor's money as many viewers will be tuning in just to see how bad it is. But after that it would just be a waste of cash. There was a thread a few weeks ago on how even prime time commercials are getting dirt cheap for sponsors. This means lower profits for all shows. So how do they expect to roll out a new high overhead show? Of course the Clinton's and reality rarely occupy the same hemisphere.
I saw a few months ago where the people who sell TV programs can't even give away new talk shows as the market is already saturated with them.

I say let the dummies give the TOON 50mil. - then he'll flop and we can boycot his dumba$$ sponsers. I can see the ratings now - I give ClinToon a month and CBS will pull the plug. The boy is simply worthless and needs to be in JAIL.

Here's hoping our greatest living ex-President is paid handsomely to counter all of the Republican Party propaganda polluting our airwaves now.
When President Clinton has his own show, my cable company might deserve the exhorbitant monthly checks we send them. CNN or MSNBC would profit handsomely from the interest such a show would attract, including many Freepers now suffering effects of the Bush Recession.
