Time for the American people to stand fast De-Fund the United Way.
Years ago I refused to give in to their strong-arm workplace money stealing tactics.

United Way and the school PTA organizations killed funding to the Boy Scouts in San Diego. When thay happened, I ceased any further involvement with United Way. The Friends of Scouting fund raising drive happens annually. I donate directly to the scouts via that mechanism. United Way saw the error of their ways after some major complaints. Even after they restored the scouts as a funded organization, I've opted to avoid UW and just donate directly.

I really do not understand why a petition is needed at all. United Way is a scam. They collect money for worthy charities, take a cut for themselves, and give the balance to the charities. They are nothing more than a middleman. Why bother signing a petition. Simply give your money directly to the Boy Scouts, and cut out the middleman. If, say, you give $100.00 for the Boy Scouts through United Way, they skim off 20%, and give 80.00 to the Boy Scouts. Why not, than just give the full $100.00 directly to the Boy Scouts. Even if there were no political correctness or politics involved, United Way would still be a scam. I, for example, give a donation to Catholic Charities. I would never think of going through a middleman. I give direct.

I think the Scouts did OK before the United Way came around. This is one of the dangers of depending on big organizations. I keep my kids in Scouts, and send ZERO dollars to the United Way.

The Boy Scouts of America require people to have certain religious, sexual, and political views to join. A lot of people here would throw fits if they supported say a Muslim group, or a Pagan group, so I don't see why Boy Scouts should get special treatment just because they represent a majority.

Mighty PING for the Boy Scouts. We did our part in Sacramento. We freeped those United Way creeps TWICE!! But they still spit on the Boy Scouts. Can't say we didn't try. Perhaps these petitions and field survey will cause Sacramento United Way to reconsider. One can only hope. For victory & freedom!!!
