The Boy Scouts of America require people to have certain religious, sexual, and political views to join. A lot of people here would throw fits if they supported say a Muslim group, or a Pagan group, so I don't see why Boy Scouts should get special treatment just because they represent a majority.

I don't know about 'certain' views. As far as I know, as a Scouting Mom for the last 10 years, the Scout has to believe in God, it doesn't specify Christian, Muslim, Jewish or Hindu. The Scout must be of good moral character; they don't ask about sexual preferences, but if any immoral character is shown, they're shown the door. And as far as political views, I have no idea what you're talking about. Scouts are not ALLOWED to take part in any campaigning for ANY candidate while in uniform. Out of uniform, they can support anyone. Scouts have taken part in political activities, in a non-partisan way. For example, a group of Scouts presented the colors at the Democrat Natl. Convention in 2000 and were BOOED by the idiots in the audience! The only folks showing partisanship there were the STOOPID delegates!
