Big deal...He had to pay 20 million to get on the flight! Had any black-african paid it, he/she could go too!

I believe reparations are in order. NASA, Reverund Jackson is waiting to see you...

From the BET web site....
the local media pointed out that Patrick Baudry, a Frenchman born in Cameroon, flew on the U.S. Shuttle Discovery in 1985, making him the first African in space.
Nothing to see here, folks. Move along....

Let's ask 'them' who the first African-American was in space? I'll BET you they don't know that one.

First off, Shuttleworth doesn't live in South Africa anymore, he's a resident of London. THis is as far as i read; by this logic no black american should call himself african since they don't reside in africa.

Go read the message boards on BET website.
BET playing the race card their way is not totally embraced by BET viewers.

Are they also angry that the 'African-American' female to win an Oscar isn't black either?

Let's not forget that the most beautiful African-American is Charleze Theron.

Jesse won't appear until he finds a useful word that ryhmes with "Shuttle".

Is there anything that certain Blacks (and we know who they are, right?) AREN'T angry about?
To: H8DEMS
I thought that they were proud of their 'Afronaut'.
To: H8DEMS
Yeah, I'm sure some Swaziland thatched hut dweller with fourteen children from six women and a case of AIDS has the real desire to conquer space. I think he might want running water and electricity first. B.E.T. should stand for "But Ergo all Thought"

Very funny! Maybe we could produce a good rhymes list for the reverend. Sort of like a Jesse word association list.

Yes, I believe as crazy as it sounds, Shuttleworth paid $20 million of his own money to the Russians to fly into space. If a black African wanted to do the same, I'm certain the Russians would be happy to take his money.

Re-buttle
scuttle
muddle
cuddle
etc...
Perhaps NASA can invite him to conduct the next un-tethered space walk, then hit the thrusters, watching him turn into a speck in space.
