BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A 55-year-old man has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor sexual battery charges after a woman claimed that he offered her carrots and money for sex, then touched her inappropriately.
Labh Singh will serve 20 days in jail and be on probation for the next three years. He also is required to register as a sex offender.
Authorities say Singh approached his 22-year-old neighbor with the offer last week while she was unloading groceries.

,,, the age old problem - one can't pass judgement until all the facts are assembled. There's no mention of the size of the carrots. This, in itself could have caused anguish for the victim and led to such an outcome. Size is important.
