You are just wasting bandwidth. If you have something serious to say, just say it as opposed to sophomoric needling from the bleachers, but this probably isn't the right thread in any event.

I picked it up this evening at HASTINGS. Cost =$5.40. Some more words from the publisher:

Many worthy books will undoubtedly be written about the events of September 11 and their aftermath, and this speech will be part of those records. That's for the future. For now, as publishers, we believed people might want to have this little book as immediately as possible to put in their pockets or purse, to revisit the words that so strongly set our course as a nation in this crucial time.

Newmarket Press. Proceeds go to the American Red Cross. First printing is 100,000 copies.

Maybe those days at Warner Bros really taught Ronnie how look at camera

Reagan talks about this in his autobiography, An American Life. They helped his a lot with his appearance and presence.

It is a long story and it was a hard time for the family to deal with .. the house was rob .. the car stolen .. bunch of other stuff and I come from an average middle class family

But as a family we stuck together and got through it .. and Jeb Bush and his family can also .. there is a lot of love in that family ..

Bush emphasized that it was not how much money was poured into a program but the results that one got from the program. That more money did not mean that the program would be better. He also emphasized the need to curtail the congress' desire to spend money.

This may seem strange to say, but in ways I miss those days when this nation was united in a patriotic fervor that I've never experienced in my post-war baby boomer life. I knew it would end, and I abhor what made it happen, but to me it was the silver lining in that very dark cloud over America.

I feel exactly the same way. It's too bad that the World Trade Center was destroyed - it was wonderful when America pulled together because of 9-11 - it's too bad the unity was so fleeting.

I have a question, someone mentioned Ford. I noticed that whenever they have something with all the living past presidents they always exclude Ford. Why is that? Did he die? I know why Reagan is not included for obvious and understandable reasons. What happened to Pres.Ford?

I haven't had time to read all of tonight's Dose, I haven't even read much of FRee Republic today, but did you hear that Fresno, CA, is the third city in the country for car theft? It's only behind Miami and Phoenix. Not behind L.A., not behind New York City. Amazing!
