President Bush headed to the left coast today with stops in New Mexico and California. Bush addressed a crowd at the University of New Mexico saying that he will work to pass federal mental health parity legislation to eliminate disparites in the coverage of mental health benefits. The President then headed to Los Angeles where he made several stops before attending a fund raiser this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Saw the KNBC-TV local news at 4:00 PDT when we got home from work today - it was a live feed, and it sure looked like he was very well-received. Smiles and applause for our President all around.

If it helps, we have a pair of Canadian geese who had 7 little ones and they have been a joy to watch. Plus I saw my first hummingbird at the feeder today. Here it is the coldest and windiest day we've had in MD for a while, and there is this lovely hummingbird showing itself.
