President Bush headed to the left coast today with stops in New Mexico and California. Bush addressed a crowd at the University of New Mexico saying that he will work to pass federal mental health parity legislation to eliminate disparites in the coverage of mental health benefits. The President then headed to Los Angeles where he made several stops before attending a fund raiser this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Good evening folks! Thanks for the pics! I have a question for my Jewish friends here on FR. My son has homework on the Holocaust and he has some words he has to defined, the word JEWISH BADGE has totally thrown us for a loop, can anyone here tell us what it means? Thanks!

Thanks for the hugs Mama. I'm here just trying to figure out the musical beds thingy.
To: CCTeen
That'll do nicely, CCTeen. Thank you kindly. Now just remember to tell that to twyn1 rather than McLynnan. McLynnan is *not* your mama.

Isn't that the yellow inverted triangle that Jews were forced to wear to identify themselves?

I did manage to listen to Rush today and he was insinuated that it was odd that there are all these 'poor, poor, Powell' articles in the print news of late and then Clinton comes out praising Powell's efforts, etc. Don't know what it all means and neither does Rush but he found it interesting. ?? Maybe Clinton or his goons are reading some Threads here on FreeRepublic .. and noticed how many folks are not happy with Powell
Clinton does not do ANYTHING unless it benefits him or Hilda .. there is more behind Clinton's praise of Powell .. remember Hilda IS running in 2004
IMO .. Powell is doing the job President Bush sent him to do .. he is a military man who knows how to follow orders. Powell is also a diplomat .. Bush sent Powell to see if the talks would work .. if not then it is off to Plan B

I wanted to watch the repeat of Meet the Press with Net and the paper showed it would be repeated on CNBC at 9, but I got some special instead.I was just kicking myself for forgetting to watch it at 9pm (you must be Central time too). Oh well, next time I better get up at 8am and watch it.

We had a water bed for years and years...then a 'regular' bed which about killed our backs. Now we have a 'latex' bed with a 30 year warranty (lifetime for us..lol) and it's amazingly wonderful and mucho better than a water bed!

Boy I sure will, it was one of the most appalling things I've ever seen. I never try to second guess you, it's got to be tough enough to make those decisions (although this one was pretty obvious) without having a bunch of backseat drivers second guessing you.

Speaking of look-alikes; I had a horrible thought today. I glanced at an Elvis Presley tape and the picture of Elvis reminded me of someone.
In a second, I realized it was Clinton, it's the open mouth thing. Sorry, Elvis!
