That's great. We going to have to do some time changes on the rapids and timed fires. I ordered a '03A3 from the CMP and I would love to try it out with this match. I have never tried to work a bolt as fast as I can so it should get interesting.

NY said he had a lot of people who were trying to get into the last match and were late. I wonder if he still has a list? I asked OKsooner why he couldn't make the match and he replied back that he had a death in the family. Retirednavy never responded.

I have a High Power match tomorrow. It's been raining all week at night so I hope it continues or at least doesn't start doing it during Saturday morning. I have to find a match where I don't have to wake up at O Dark 30.

'03A3

A3 - as in an AR flattop? What does the '03 stand for?

I bought a Bushmaster three months ago, I am still working on the correct ammo, sights, etc.

I have a RRA 2 stage trigger in the mail, so that should tighten the groups up a bit vs. the mil-spec trigger.

Success. I got 90 house-brand targets (identical to an SR-21), @ 20 cents apiece. Not sure if that simulates 200 or 300 yards, I think that is the target used for rapid prone. Do you think these will work for my suggested slow standing, rapid sitting&prone?

Open to suggestions on time for a rapid fire for the bolt rifles. I've shot bolt Mauser98 at our match, it was tough to get 10 off in 60/sitting 70/prone till I got the hang of it. How about 90 and 100 seconds for the bolts?
