Has anyone written them up yet ? Will it be "service rifle" type requirements ?
thanks,
Jim
Also see How about a Freeper Postal Match?
thanks,

If I install a two-stage trigger to replace the creepy-crawly OE trigger, am I still OK?
I like the no match ammo thing - I can shoot XM193 or SA surplus all day long for the price of a couple of boxes of "Match" ammo.
I don't understand the no spotting scope thing tho...
No reason why you cant use it during practice/warm-up, before you shoot for score, to get your zero.
By the way, I don't want to confuse this anymore but I forgot about slings. Yes or no?
I'm thinking no spotting scopes, binoculars or anything, for reasons stated. Just trying to make it fair for everyone by eliminating any specialized equipment that some of the regular match shooters may have.
Basic slings should be ok too.
I haven't fired my .22 in a very long time, I will be interesting to see if the rifle I fired in Boy Scouts can shoot accurately to 100 yds.
I don't really care for my 10/22 at 100 yards and I have an old Remington 41P that I'd like to use. The problem is I have been searching for a front globe and a rear peep...the rifle has been in my family since long before I was around and the sights are missing...any help locating originals would be appreciated. Years ago I checked with Sarco and a few others but had no luck...it's a single shooter so rapid fire might be a problem...if I can't get it set up I guess I can go with the R-r-r-r-ruger...
Arena, I have a 541X target that I received from the CMP. The rear sight is a Williams and it fastens on the left side. The front sight is a globe type with removable aperatures and there isn't a manufacturers name on it. I looked for your sights and so far no luck on the rear sight. Gun Parts only has the front sight blade type for the 41 if you're interested. You might try Redfield.
I've already reserved your spot.
