[history]
I was driving with my 3-year-old daughter Monday morning down West Liberty Avenue, when we had no choice but to gaze out the car windows at a variety of 5-foot placards depicting extremely graphic photos of aborted fetuses. My daughter asked me, "Mommy, why are those people holding signs of scary monsters?" In shock myself as to what I was seeing, I did not know what to say.

Thanks for the links.
Isn't it ironic that the same people who yell that sex and abortion have "privacy" protections are the same ones who want to make sex a public topic all day, every day?

fawning media appearances that were trying to make her into some sainted Mother Teresa Martyr of Abortion who'd suffered her wound for some sort of sacrament.Actually, they are hinting at the exact truth of the matter.
3,000 or so years ago, in the mideast, there were people sacrificing babies to a demon they called Molech.
It is still going on, right here in America.

There is a difference between making pictures available to those who wish to see them, and putting them in front of people who do not wish to see them. Maybe the people who like the public display of murdered fetuses should consider starting a "Murdered Fetus" magazine. That way they could have the pleasure of seeing their favorite form of porn without having to flash the images before the public.

I suppose someone could bring out a magazine called Murdered Fetus (aka MF).
In the right hands, it could become the MS magazine of the 21st Century. Maybe someone like Gloria Steinem (who changed her mind about men and got married) or Betty Friedan (who NOW has a kinder view of men) could be in charge.
- Do you think local laws would demand that Murdered Fetus magazine be located behind the counter or on the top shelf?
- Would purchasers of Murdered Fetus have to show their id's to prove they are old enough to buy an issue?
- Will the publisher of MF have to make sure the issues are wrapped in brown paper before they are mailed to the subscribers?
I'll bet a lot of lawyers could earn a few bucks straightening out these problems, if
Murdered Fetus ever came into existence.
Lots of potential here.

I forgot to say that I think adding an "O" to the title (
Murdered Foetus) would add a certain cachet.
Maybe a silhouette of a 5 1/2 month foetus could be placed in the "O" (it would serve as sort of a logo).
Here are some additional ideas.
- Murdered Foetus could prove to be popular enough to grace the tables in the waiting room of Planned Parenthood along with the the popular travel magazines and the home decorating magazines.
- Maybe the management could place extra copies in the examining rooms.
- They could even provide complimentary copies (for the one out of every two humans who goes home from the abortion chamber.) The complimentary copies could include a picture of the patient's own Murdered Foetus, if the patient so desires. The magazine could serve as a momento, sort of like a souvenir, from their trip to the clinic.

MS magazine was pronounced "Mizz."
MF magazine would, of course, be pronounced "Miff."

What are the chances for this form of protest in the US? :)
The Power of Peaceful Protest
"Our weapon is our nakedness," Helen Odeworitse, a leader of 600 women who peacefully seized control of an oil terminal in Escravos, Nigeria, told the Associated Press. Odeworitse and other women held 700 western oil workers hostage and shut down a facility that exports half a million barrels of oil a day.

That's your opinion. How would you have felt if Germans had stood on street corners waving placards showing the slaughter of Jews going on at local death camps? They would be heros right? Preventing the government from covering up their atrocities? Would you have complained that you and your German children driving by found them offensive and horrifying?
I think your being horrified at the wrong people and at the wrong thing.
To: nanrod
Take a pill. Relax. The problem is not "the people carrying the pictures," it is the act of murder which you choose to ignore. As long as you don't have to look at it, the vicious killing of babies is okay, huh?
Amazing how nimrods don't care about babies being butchered, but it bothers them (and they advocate violence) when someone dares to show them the truth.
When a picture is more offensive than the murder of a baby, your priorities are seriously screwed up.

About a year ago I saw a full sized billboard of a man with his entire nose gone. JG: I think that the people that put up those kinds of displays are mentally disturbed.
That's entirely beside the point of your question of when you're going to see ads of cancer decimated bodies. The answer is it's already being done.
Why are those people disturbed? They just want me to stop smoking and they want to keep kids from starting. I wonder how many people complained that it was too horrible for their children to see? It's anti-smoking so I bet next to none.
To: Jeff Gordon
I think that the people that murder babies for a living are mentally disturbed.

I think that the people that murder babies for a living are mentally disturbed. That is a given.

That's entirely beside the point of your question of when you're going to see ads of cancer decimated bodies. I never asked about cancer decimated bodies. I asked about images of the bodies or brutally raped women. Notwithstanding that, I believe that people who want to put such inhumane images into the public's face are mentally disturbed.
To: Jeff Gordon
I never asked about cancer decimated bodiesYes you did.
When will we start seeing pictures of cancerous breasts on the sides of trucks and on FR?
To: TigersEye
Indeed I did.

How do you respond to a 3-year-old about such violent photos? She doesn't understand; how do I tell her that those are unborn babies when she is very excited about her aunt who is pregnant with twins? To the author: You tell me!
To: syriacus
...but remember, those clinics are there to help all women, not just those who are seeking abortions. Your voice is getting smaller. I can't rejoice enough. Your live dismemberment practices and support of which are being exposed.
