the Pals are talked about by many as wild animals on these pages when they are in fact God's children just as the Jewish and you and I are.

Speak for yourself with you moral equivalency. If you go around strapping bombs to children and murdering 4 year olds hiding under beds, than you are indeed as much God's child as are the Palis and the Nazis. I will not claim to be Hitler's brother, thank you very much!

They would win hands down if they took the Gandhi approach. It is a sure fire approach to fight against tyranny in a democracy.

I agree. They need to fire whoever is handling their PR, fire Arafat, and find someone who can lead the Pals in non-violent political action. They would win. There is enough sympathy for them here, and in Europe, and incredibly enough, even among Israelis, that few people would begrudge them their victory.

But, any prospective Ghandis and Martin Luther Kings there have probably been murdered by Arafat's security apparatus. They have executed hundreds and hundreds of "collaborators". Among those killed were some our Ghandis, maybe. This is why I say nothing can be done why Arafat is there. When psycho killers rule, normal people either leave (and they have left in droves, taking up residence all over the middle east, and europe, and probably YourTown, USA) or they keep their heads down and their mouths shut.

This is precisely why our US State Dept decision to invite Arafat into the West Bank was such an immoral and deadly blunder.

I agree with your points. However, the status of the Palis could at last be resolved, they are currently stateless, not just the ones in the West Bank, but all of the Palis in all of the Arab countries, i.e. Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, etc. Also, Israel would have a defendable land mass.

What are you going to do about the millions of Americans who say, "hey, we don't attack other Americans on account of their religion or ethnicity?"

What is your point? No one in this category is an Islamic Arab-American.

I think that the difference was that the Israelis could vote but the Palestinians could not.

How would you respond if you were a Pal?

If I cared for my children and was not a bloodthirsty monster, I would figure out that I was not wanted, and MOVE SOMEPLACE ELSE!

It exists today, and the Israeli's attempt to wipe them off the map is leading America to attacks.

Where's America's in such an operation?

America is not safe if any Islamist is alive anywhere on earth.

Before '67, they were Jordanian. Now they are Israeli for all practical purposes -- all internet addresses are .il, for example, because the only internet access comes from Israeli firms. As untidy as it is, the Palestinians really seem unconcerned with statelessness. In fact, they have more sway (esp. in the UN) without it.

In the 1960s-1980s, the country may have gotten ised to rioting in the Black neighborhoods. Rioting by Arabs is coming: it is already the reality throughout Europe.

I am still wating for one --- just one --- Arab American organization to condemn the Sep 11 without "ifs" and "buts." I am saying Arab and not Muslim because the Turkish Americans left no doubt whatever as to where they stood: with the rest of the Americans. But the Arab communities in Detroit, San Diego, New Jersey --- that's another matter.

You are right on the money, Cardinal; good to see you.

Maybe; what does that have to do with Israel? And are you advocating genocide?

does it really matter why - accept that they didn't want to?

Who really cares what 2 million people that we are going to kill this year think.

Re # 75

America has no fundamental quarrel with the Arabs that wouldn't vanish if we treated Israel as we do any other country.

There seems to be no strategic reason or benefit for treating Israel as a sacred cow above all other nations....to be supported with huge cash, technical, and military outlays all of which engender justifiable Arab hatred and enmity.

If there is some huge benefit to this absurdity....what is it?

I agree. But I think all (at least all Muslim) "Palestinians" (meaning arabs within the borders of Israel should move to SYRIA. That way they can still be arabs and live in the ONLY middle eastern country that MIGHT tolerate them.

As for "motivation", I'm all for CARPET BOMBING W.W.II STYLE EVERY CITY, CAMP they have. As an American I've seen new coverage for most of my adult life seeing civilians targeted by "PALESTINIAN" arabs. Going back to the mid 60's when Arafat's goon's started commandeering American airplanes. Times up. Drive them out or KILL THEM. They have gone out of their way to show they cannot be rehabilitated.

Why are their loyalties suspect? And suspected by whom? You?

I'm with DentsRun. Kristol, Podhortez and Safire cannot be trusted. When McCain started bashing evangelical Christians during the primaries, all three of them began jumping up and down with glee. So did Jonah Goldberg. McCain was wonderful. He was going to deliver them to the promised land, a GOP land purged of those nut case right wing Christians.

And now the three (four) of them are preening and cooing over how nice and wonderful it is that those born again Christians they despise are Israel's best friends.

I was sucked in by all of them except Kristol. Read Safire for decades. Podhortez and his dad were great. Goldberg did good work during Clinton's impeachment. Thought the neocons were tolerant solid conservatives. Now all three are lower than dirt imho.

Btw...I'm not an evangelical. Far from it. But I had to see people used and I hate users even more.

No Don, they didn't leave. They were forced out at gunpoint. 800,000 of them. Morrocco, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia and other Arab countries expelled the Jews who had been living there for 2,000 years (well, their descendants at least).

You should note that sobieski was the same person who was saying a couple of weeks ago that there was no evidence that the Palestinians were holding hostages at the Church of the Nativity and that the people who were saying this must have an ulterior (read pro-Joooooooo) agenda.
