Tiger doesn't really consider himself to be "black".
A point which is addressed in the article. I assume Tiger's term "Cablinasian", can be broken down into Caucasian, Black, American Indian, and Asian. Is that correct?

Only around the 30s was the word expropriated by Marxists. I adimire your command of History.
Anyway, every so often you here the likes of a Clinton or a Dasshole label themselves as progressive. It is one of the few times I agree with them.
As regaurds this article, some people thin Tiger "owes" other people money because he is wealthy. They want to redestribute his wealth. They are attempting to use the media because the laws in this country will not let them do it to the extent they wish to.
To my line of thinking those people are communist. Progressive is just a smoke screen.

Good Read. I don't know Tiger's politics. That's fine by me.

Probably the same thing I said back when I played football. Big Deal. It's part of sports and competitiveness.

I think Tiger's point was that labelling people by race is dumb, and requires the type of linguistic gymnastics that result in the term 'cablinasian'.
The Most Reverend Jesse Shakedown uses such dimwitted terms - I have to laugh at 'browns', what the hell is a brown??

The ability to think should be more than enough to move a person away from the democratic party.

Thank you for this great post. I enjoyed reading it and intend to pass it along to as many people (who get it) as possible.

When the NAACP pressured him to boycott a South Carolina tour event because the state still flies the Confederate flag, Tiger again ducked controversy. He didnt play the event, but he refused to be a ruse. He insisted he declined because the Hilton Head event didnt fit into his schedule, not because he was making a statement. Too bad he "ducked" in this instance with a dubious excuse, instead of telling the NAACP to take a flying leap.

There will never be a "class act" in sports like Dale Earnhardt Sr. -- the story about him refusing to give up his suite to Hillary Clinton at a New York hotel a few years ago is one for the ages.

Also, Tiger's father was career US military..AF I think?..and the values of the career military tend favor the GOP.....and you'd think a little bit would have rubbed off on Tiger growing up.......OTOH..remember the commericals he made when he first turned pro..with the lines.."I'm playing on gold courses they wouldn't let me join a few years ago"..or something like that.....I think that Tiger was "fed" those lines..and he was uncomfortable with them...

The same classy Tiger Woods who stiffed his host last year (Joe Jemsek..who was REAL class act)at the Western Open ?
Tiger has had his foot-in-mouth moments.
So far, nobody from the black community has openly hammered him for his penchant for blond/blue-eyed girlfriends, but methinks it's coming.

That means he's determined to be nobody's prawn.

You should hear what I yell on the ice at opposing players who dare to venture into my goalie's crease. That's if I can't get my hands on them, of course.

Some people just enjoy finding fault...no matter what it is.Funny, I don't remember Palmer or Nicklaus saying those things.
