These are the changes that Jean-Marie Le Pen would seek to make if elected president of France, according to his campaign web site,

A few words of advice--
1- use the links within these posts... you will find much more information that way.
2- while FreeRepublic is the "Web's Premier Conservative Site" and a great source for news, articles, & commentary- it is much more. I have never seen a better site for getting to the truth quickly- literally hundreds or thousands of people from all walks of life, across the globe, scan these posts, and lies, spin, and misinformation are quickly dissected.
FReegards,

This just went to about 25 newspapers across the country, and about 25 "opinionators" like Rush & Hannity.
Have a go at it yourself- it's easy and kind of fun.

BRAVO, backhoe!!!
In the USSR, you would have been called a 'Stakhanovite', a Hero of Soviet Labor.
That is an amazing packet of info; if folks use the links, they could save themselves WEEKS researching matters that are scarcely touched in the mass media.

Well, thanks, but I suspect in the old Comblock I would have been called "who's that?" or "disappeared...."
Seriously, between the web and talk radio, there is just no excuse for people being uninformed anymore.

There is no excuse for ignorance. Period.
Mental defectives exempted; they have an excuse. ;^)
P.S. Stakhanov was a Ukrainian coal miner in the '30s who greatly exceeded his production quota; Stalin hailed him as a hero and example to all.
Okay, so you're NOT a Commie and I'm not Stalin-- but you get the picture! ;^)

Yes, I get the picture, and I thank you for the compliment.
Signing off in a moment to put the household to bed...

BTTT!
To: Travis McGee
Thanks for the bump, Travis. I do sometimes wonder how much good this kind of activism does... I think it was around the time of the election fiasco that it seemed that more & more talk show hosts and the occasional Talking Head on TV were using headlines verbatim from Free Republic and other web sites.
