What's the matter with Billy Bob Thornton as McCain?

Billy Bob Thornton would be perfect if we were casting the remake of "No Time for Sergeants". Nobody who calls himself "Billy Bob" anything is going to look the part of a 3rd generation Naval officer and Naval Academy alumnus.

Maria Shriver would make a good Mrs. McCain (remember the snub).

NO,No,NO!! It has to be Steve Martin. He's got the hair already, and he could sound just like him - a real satire on McCainiac.

Then Carmen Diaz as is wife - she is a real fruitcake - perfect!

Dennis Hopper is a great choice. But then there's Jack. Nicholson has the ability to ooze evil...just like McManiac.

The late Charlie Chaplin, in his white-haired old age, was a dead ringer for McCain.

But come on, Bruce Willis has already played John McClain, so he'd only have to drop one consonant to get the role.

Anthony Hopkins aka Hannibal Lector, minus the British accent would be a convincing McPain.

You guys are all wrong...McCain plays himself...do you honestly believe he would pass up the chance to have 2 full hours devoted to himself...he's an egomaniac.....that said...my pick would be Ed Harris.....or Russell Crowe(just kidding)
